It's amazing that we're still allowed names. I suppose it's one small speck of individuality that reminds us we're not robots. Though with all of our programming, we may as well be.

We're told we're not special; not any different from the others we're placed with. We're neither better or worse than those in the other Sectors, but I know that's not true. I can't let on that I know this, because acting differently will get me into so much trouble.

It's so easy to follow what I've always known and forget everything I've learned.

I just repeat to myself:I am Skye. I am Skye. I am Skye. Maybe one day it will mean something.

I hope that you one day understand what I try to tell you and that you'll forgive me for what I'm doing to you. I wish things were different so we could both be happy.
