Spooks learned to take care of his little sister after losing their mother to Q Fever, and over time developed a "everything for Maggy" personality. He bounced them from place to place, paranoid, and stayed in the Alleyway in West Genray for a while. Someone almost took Maggy away so he told them to take another girl, Sun, instead. They were soon kicked out and took up living in an abandoned house. She was kidnapped at one point by the Divine and he went into a total spiral and became the Divine's lapdog. He eventually had to search, locate, and befriend his old flame, Sun, and convince her to come with him. Then he traded her for his little sister and fled again, this time relocating to South Genray and the foster home Sanctuary. Maggy made him find Sun's friends to rescue her, and some time during that period he convinced himself that he was in love with her. Sun hates him, obviously, and doesn't want him in her life. He's a rather stupid boy that always acts on impulse and is only loyal to his little sister, Maggy.
