Whether the sea roars and churns beneath the stormy night sky, or whether it lies calmly and reflects the lovely face of the moon, it does not matter to her. When seen, she often appears as an almost ghostly apparition in the dark waters, her pearl-like coat glowing dully, shimmering white hooves glittering in the moonlight. When she gallops through the ocean mist that she commands, sprays of the briny water cascade as purely as diamonds around her. She is a great beauty, a marvelous wonder, a legend oft sought but seldom found. Beneath the water's surface, her snowy mane waves slowly with the tide, like silky kelp, and shines dimly in the soft light penetrating the ocean waters. To look upon her once is to glimpse the lost treasure of the sea.
She is the goddess of the waves of the mist. Appearing only to rescue drowning sailors and gallop across her watery domain, she remains an unsolved mystery.
Let's run together, side by side,
till we reach the end of the world.
Blend our voices like an artist with his paints
Like the wind scatters her colors
Onto distant shores.
We will run past friends, and foes;
And pass strangers in foreign lands.
And it will all run and blend
like the ink on the edge of this page...
I can hear your quiet breathing.
It's my comfort, my water, my air.
The world can crumble around us
but it won't matter.
Because we'll be running, running
Running into the sun, till we reach the end of the world.
The blinding orange disk of the sun will meet our embrace.
We will stand at the world's end,
and look down into the
Hear the ocean's waters pouring over the edge into
And laughing, we will shake
the salty sweat drops from our hair,
And sit side by side.
Gone away from the world.
