Cometflame is a slightly-sullen 15-year-old who has a knack for getting annoyed. Whether it's Auroraflare's high-pitched giggling and nonsensical statements, Wezsley's lectures, or Katenelle being within a 100-mile radius, he's sure to be ticked off about it.

He once made the fatal mistake of stepping on the tail of Katenelle's Meepit, Clifford; this promptly led to him getting shoved in the mud, called about 30 nasty names, and declared war upon. Adding to the friction is the growing friendship between Katenelle's sister, Vahleska, and Wezsley - which ensures that Katenelle always has an excuse to lurk around.
