~ Sophisticated - Misunderstood - Cryptic ~
Everyone who doesn't know you well, but acknowledges you existence, bases how you are on what they see... the things you do, how you do those things, the people you know and even love. To the people that have never met you, you are nothing but perhaps a gust of wind; there, then gone. But to the people that do know you well, you are someone, whole and strong, with realistic traits and abilities. In all likelihood, they have seen a lot more things of you than others... things that those others almost never see or perhaps never choose to notice.
But let us say that I am the bane of nothingness, the backbone of existence. The reason you love, you hate, you smile, you cry and... you exist. Let us say that I can see and make myself into whatever I want in all the galaxy. That I can bring those in their graves back to life. Seems exciting, doesn't it? But you've always remember that nothing is without a price, whether it is at your expense or not. Only life can pay for life. Only happiness can pay for happiness. And when whatever you wish to pay for is torn from you, you lose it forever.
All that I have been asked to tear away, I have witnessed. And although I have witnessed much of others paying the price, the way it affects them afterwards still scars them, the ones around them, and... my vision. Of course, these abilities are still not without benefits, but I can't help but think... Was I ever meant to exist? Some mysterious force could have just created everything and left, but here I stand, as the lord of existence. What else do I stand to do?
The reason for life, the reason for death...
