Vahleska is the older sister of Katenelle - sophisticated, smart, and blunt. Despite being painted royal, she likes to dress simply, finding elaborate dresses a bit too hard to go about daily life in.

Vahleska was living a normal life in Brightvale, caring for her sister and running the family jewelry-making business, when she discovered that they were distantly related to minor nobility. She mentioned this to Katenelle as nothing more than an interesting novelty, but the Zafara took it to heart, insisted on the purchase of a royal paint brush, and began acting absolutely ridiculous. The more people Katenelle annoyed, the more concerned Vahleska became about her behavior; she finally decided that living in a more modern, informal society might clear the delusions of being high-and-mighty from her head, and moved them to Neopia Central. (It hasn't helped so far.)

Since moving in next door, Vahleska has recently struck up a rather unusual friendship with Wezsley the Chia, for which Katenelle teases her relentlessly. Despite him being just the right size for a lupe treat, the two have numerous common interests and are becoming quite close friends.

Vahleska is secretly a squeeing Judge Hog fangirl.
