On October 4, 2009 my first dog Lady was put to rest. I will forever remember you my lovely Lady.

Lady was a true dog, one who would just sit on my porch and look around, enjoying to be outside. Lady loved to go on morning walks. Fall and winter were her favorite seasons by far, she went crazy in the snow. As a puppy Lady had parvo, a disease that kills most dogs. We nursed her back to health and she survived for many years, beating the odds. I was privileged with adopting her from a pound and living with her for 12 years.

She was a beautiful black lab, that yes, had a lot of gray hair.
