Description

♥Tinúviyl ~ Sea Wanderer

Nice to meet you! I usually try to avoid people, but Cetaceadol says it would be nice if I let you know a little about me. I am named Tinúviyl (which means 'Nightingale') because I'm always singing, and I tend to wander at odd hours through shadows under starlight shimmering. My brother Telmehtar and I often sneak out to watch the stars. We're going to name them all! ...Eventually.

I used to dance through the night sky as a shadow uni, but have always been drawn to the sea. It took years, but Cetaceadol finally changed me to my true form on March 12th, 2007 - the day I met my faithful friend Genki. Where once I soared above the horizon, now I soar below, weaving through the moonbeams in this blue-green realm. I love exploring Neopia with my sis, doing puzzles with Knybler, and causing trouble with my big bro Telmehtar. I don't know what I'd do if we ever left the island.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I adore poetry. Below are a couple of my favorites. If you'd like to be friends, send Cetaceadol a neomail. Until then, namárië!

♥Favorite Poems

The leaves were long, the grass was green,
The hemlock-umbels tall and fair,
And in the glade a light was seen
Of stars in shadow shimmering.
Tinuviel was dancing there
To music of a pipe unseen,
And light of stars was in her hair,
And in her rainment glimmering.
~J.R.R. Tolkien

A life on the ocean wave,
A home on the rolling deep,
Where the scattered waters rave,
And the winds their revels keep!
Like an eagle caged, I pine
On this dull, unchanging shore:
Oh! give me the flashing brine,
The spray and the tempest's roar!
~Epes Sargent

To see a world in a grain of sand
And heaven in a wildflower
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour.
~William Blake
