I was born in the middle of a war between Mistiä and the natives, a war that has lasted for seven years now. I've been given great powers by the gods. I was given these powers to save my people, to take the land from the natives. My father, Star, and his council will not allow me or my sister, Wind, to help our warriors. We are the princesses, we were the chosen two, and yet we cannot help our people. Star doesn't want anything to happen to us before his end comes; he keeps us locked in a cave just above a lake so that it is impossible for anyone without powers to reach them. I cannot stand watching those I loved die in front of me; most battles are even fought directly below our cave.

Now I know must do whatever I can to save my people. My father will not help; he sends warriors, but they are not prepared for the brute force of the natives of the land. We invaded the natives, but my people need a place to stay. The natives must be driven out before all of my people die. My father is a coward; he is unwilling to help drive out the natives even though he is the one who brought us here in the first place.

And because of that the natives, and my father, must pay.
