In vessels the size of a child's toy, the miniscule Minipirates sail the gargantuan waves waging war on seagulls and confused fish. It is rumoured that Minipirates are born complete with moustache, pegleg, hook hand and eyepatch. Their diet consists exclusively of seaweed, though they know of over 500 different ways to prepare it - from divine Seaweed Pate to a more earthy Kelp Stew.

They are known to consume vast quantities of rhumm, a beverage brewed from seaweed juice and molasses which somehow manages to have an incredibly potent effect despite the fact it is rather weak. When under the influence of rhumm their favourite activity is to boast about the booty they have pilfered and the helpless sailors they have sent mercilessly to Davy Jones' Locker, despite the fact that none of them are above about three inches in height.

Like most Minipirates, Reishoru suffers from the usual delusions of grandeur and an obsession with tying knots. Rather unusual, however, is his firm belief that his Petpet 'Niramu' talks to him inside his head and devises complex 'games' for them to play, more often than not involving recovering treasure from other people's pockets.
