- Mistress of Disguise!
What are you doing out so late in a place like this?
An innocent enough sounding question, but Qho had learned to sense any threat, and was already cautious. She smiled her sweetest, girliest smile.
I suppose I must be lost then, she replied with the barest hint of a wry grin - as expected, the Grarrl was oblivious to it. She gathered her skirts as daintily as possible, and passed him on her way, making sure that he caught a glimpse of her priceless necklace as she turned.
It was a couple of tense seconds before she heard the slightest change in breathing, the slightest slowing of footsteps. It must be very hard to be subtle when you're a Grarrl. Acting non the wiser, she hesitated, keeping her own steady pace, until she heard the soft sound of a knife being drawn...
He was disarmed, and down before it had even cleared the sheath. The pretty young Blumaroo had seemingly vanished. Her would-be attacker wouldn't be getting up for a while.
Welcome visitor. This is my humble abode, it's not much, but you should feel privileged that I trusted you enough to get this far. My life is not something that I often share with others, but you've shown enough courage to earn that much. I suppose I'm curious. Not many seek me out, and those who do usually have a less than honourable motive.
Qho discovered her unique set of skills at an early age. She can't remember where she came from, only a burning desire to further her education in the deadly arts, (an unusual interest for a little girl). As she grew, so too did her power and skill, under the tutelage of the Techo Master, until he announced that he had nothing more to teach her. His proudest achievement to date. Since then, she has lived a fairly solitary life, expertly adopting the role of the vigilante, ridding cities of their petty, and most notorious criminals alike. Vanity would be a weakness, she just has a great amount of confidence in her abilities.
