Taken as a pup to be the pet and watchdog for a upper class child named Akkien, Metro is raised to be overprotective and to chase off her suitors. As he grows older he learns to love the anthro, and lets her take secret trips to her lover, Sil. He is betrayed, however, when she elopes without telling him and leaving him alone with her blame-ridden family, where he is kicked out of the home and forced to wander. He ends up in the Majaki Mountains in South Genray, where he helps a young couple and inherits the Lake House in the process. He sends himself on many retrieval missions, some of which include locating and saving Akkien's daughter, and now regards her the same way he regarded her mother: protect her from suitors and danger. He's killed in an accident sometime later but is forced to remain on earth as a spirit, and has a very sour and uncharming attitude. He doesn't make friends easy and trusts very few people.
