Leon, as he would much rather like to be called, was told his entire life that he was not wanted. His mother claimed to have loved him, but she didn't. While little Leon's father told him fluently he did not love him. Leon's father, Albel, attempted to kill him once. To Leon's luck his father failed. Now the poor child lives hiding his face from the world, looking for someone who will take him in and love him not for who he is the child of, but for what he is. Until then Leon lives in the library reading and learning all there is to know.

Zelpher is Leon's pet Xepru. He comes from the planet Elicoor just as Leon does. As you can tell Xepru's are like dogs only with six legs and the ability to become invisible at will. The green lights on his head let you know how he is feeling. The more they blink the more mad he is, while the slower they blink the calmer he is. Leon just couldn't be very happy without his pet.
