After escaping the lab with Tanscope and Hakktan, Bell led a decent life... until she met a certain girl who turned her life around completely. Ameirynn controls Bell by using mind control, a very rare but exercised tool the dark Xweetok possesses, which allows her to control those that have a special collar strapped at their necks. The collars are not remmovable; it is almost as if they are attached to the wearer's flesh.
The collars originally came from the lab. When Ameirynn met Tanscope she found the location of the lab and took the collars, realising most of the experiments were already wearing one.
Laibell was one of the experiments. Though only her arm was deformed due to constant experimentation, Bell grew long sharp teeth and nicked ears from the potions she had been forced to drink. The collar was used to track her, should she ever escape; but their purposes died out when the lab was 'destroyed'. Ameirynn managed to send her power to the collars. The only known Mind-Control Collar wearer is Laibell. The others are presumed dead.

Upon meeting Yurae and traveling with her and Tanscope, Bell discovered she was the tamer of a water shard.
