Jaylah_417 is Peteri_7077's almost-twin sister. She is the yellow Pteri in the picture on her petpage, and Peteri_7077 is the green one. Peteri_7077 thinks it is a little annoying that despite being thirteen days younger that him, Jaylah_417 is one centimeter taller than him and weighs nine more pounds than him.
Today Jaylah_417 would like some help choosing what colour to paint her Stego, Steven, from two choices: black and white. Here are some reasons why they were chosen:
Why to choose black: black is a colour that can be created by mixing all paint colours and is also the colour of the absence of light. Black is one of the cutest colours for Stegos because even the wings and scales have been tinted charcoal grey to match the colour. Also, rainbow colours would stand out against a black background, making Jaylah_417's feathers look brighter and possibly more dramatic. As a Black Stego, Steven could be a stealthy character in stories either to infiltrate secret or dangerous places or to protect his owner under the cover of night where in the darkness he cannot easily be noticed (before it is too late!) when she goes out at night.
Why to choose white: White is a typical colour of a blank canvas or drawing paper as well as the combination of all of the colors of light. White is one of the cutest colours for Stegos because the scales and wings still stay green, adding a pop of natural colour. Also, rainbow colours would stand out naturally against a white background as if they were on a canvas. As a White Stego, Steven would look like Jaylah_417's blank canvas next to her, leading to a cute story in which she spills or splatters some paint onto his white scales, possibly leading to a follow-up in which he is temporarily painted with washable paint for a crafty message or secret code idea.
