Born Royal: 25th Day of Sleeping, Y8
Young and fair, a bonny prince,
This lad of leisure loves to mince.
With dashing looks and clever wit,
At soirée and gala he's a hit...
But should he get the least upset,
Gentility throws a hissy-fit.
He rends his robes and breaks his toys,
He rants and raves with dreadful noise.
Then on a whim he'll stop! And smile,
Smoothing his garments all the while.
When calm again, he'll flirt and feign,
To think one day this fop will reign!
۩
You and I bear much in common.
What eloquent words you pen.
