In fact, don't take any part of the picture at face value. As those who know her can attest, she is an avid reader who spends most of her time in the scroll vaults of the Royal Palace in Sakhmet. She works there as an archivist, specializing in ancient texts related to the interactions between the Lost Desert and other lands of Neopia. She is considered to be Neopia's foremost expert on Scarabs, and seldom leaves the Lost Desert.

So what, then, is she doing there? A waterfall like this can be found many places in Neopia, but even an Oasis in the Lost Desert cannot claim the fall leaves and butterflies accompanying it. And even more curious - her hair and wings. Wings which she's never before possessed, and curly red hair - a far cry from her natural dark brown. Gazer is hardly flighty; acting on a whim is something unknown to her...
