There was once a man by the name of Phillip Faux. Faux was an illusionist which performed for the King of France every third day of every new season. He was much loved by the people until one day, he was forced to move out of the country after being accused of performing the will of the under lord with his "powers".

In order to develop a fresh new start, Faux moved to Neopia to capture the love of the people. Unfortunately, rumors spread quickly and he was unable to obtain a job as an entertainer. Pushed to the limits, Faux decided to use his skills as a device for thievery; he then began to gain handfuls of coin. Greed over came the young illusionist and he started to boast to others about his riches.

As Faux came home from his latest thieveries, he discovered all his riches were gone. He knew about the famous NefariousBeast –that famous thief-. But during his encounter, he found out she was innocent.

During his greatest low point, Neffy helped him regain his confidence and forever he owed a debt to her. From that day on, he never stole again and is now Neffy's loyal guard, hiding in the shadows.
