Coughing, you pull yourself through the fog that surrounds you, clinging to your body and adding to the damp ethos that you disliked in this forset the moment you set foot in it. Why oh why did you stray of the path? For fame, glory and all that jazz? No, you saw a light and hoped that that would be enough to guide you in the blackness: a firelight just ahead of you. As you get closer the idea that the owner of this fire could be worse than the blackness breifly flits across your mind, but no: you brush it aside. After all, what could be worse than stumbling around in the darkness?
Throwing yourself flat at the edge of the makeshift campsite, you witness a strange sight. Before you is the owner of he welcoming light: a hairless creature who walks on two legs and seems preoccupied, muttering to himself in the light. Or is he? No, there's a bird there too, a... pet? He's a fearsome bast to be sure: they both are, and as you pull yourself upright to give the best impression they turn in your direction.
