Dear TNT,
While I respect the fact that since you own the site and have worked hard to make it what it is, I have to object about the new Neohomes, and the fact that the 'classic' Neohomes are no longer eligible for entering in the spotlight.
We were all worried when the first rumors of Nv2 came, but we brushed it off and decided not to worry to much about it, saying that came what may, we had faith that you wouldn't do a complete major overhaul on Neohomes that changed how they worked when hundreds of people had spent longs days and millions of NP designing their homes, giving each room character and applying massive amounts of creativity in the hopes that someday they would enter and win the Neohome Spotlight. Sure, we panicked and would "run around like chickens with their heads cut off" ,as one user put it, when something would happen and we couldn't see our rooms, or had something funky happen with Neohome links, but are very protective of our neohomes, so our responses were, more or less, to be expected. We were so confident that you would think long and hard about Nv2, or maybe just do away with it and instead make minor tweaks to our 'classic' system.
We couldn't have been more wrong.
Like I stated earlier, I respect your power over the site as the Neopets Team, and that you will do what you deem necessary to maintain it. But I do wish the voice of the users to be heard and respected as well.
Those of us who Neohome do so because it is the aspect of this site that we enjoy the most, that captures us and demands every ounce of our creativity, far more then maintaining a gallery or making a petpage would. So removing the ability to submit our 'classic' Neohomes, and telling us so in such an off hand manner, is something a kin to a slap in the face to us. Several of us are wavering, not sure how much time and love to pour into this site anymore.You are revamping things and changing what we are used to almost too fast for us to keep up. It's overwhelming us, scaring us, and leaving us unsure on how to act. My personal fear is that, when all these updates are said and done for, will this site still be the same Neopets that I joined four years ago, the same Neopets that captivated me and made me respect the brilliant minds that maintained it?
Will it, when all is said and down for, still be Neopets, or something that merely resembles our beloved site?
That, though, is a worry for another day. And believe me, no matter what my heart and those who might read this letter tell me, I'm sure that the day I fear is much closer then we would like.

M'Aishy, pleasant meeting your acquaintance. I'm an adventurer, and love to see new lands. I'm also a book worm, as my Int of 335 proudly boasts. While Mara may claim to be the BD pet, in reality, I spend more time in the Battledome then she does. Since my stats are higher, it does help that fact.
I enjoy explore the various worlds here in Neopia, as well as our backyard adventures¹. Sometimes my siblings, of which I am the eldest and the first, and I all go together, and sometimes just Feefee and I traverse the lands. Either way, though, we always enjoy the feeling of independent exploration. Thank you for stopping by, but I simply must be on my way. So much to explore, so little time...

¹ A backyard adventure would be when we are bored stiff and one of us - most the time, Dragonay - comes up with a story line that we go along, pretending to be the characters. It's amazing what he comes up with...
