     We were overjoyed when we received a reply from the Faerie Queen, brought by a cute little Floud! She was willing to converse with us, and what’s more, had invited us to her home. Invitation in hand, we scrambled to get to Faerieland as quickly as we could. How you ask? I am a Draik, after all, I have wings!

     We were ushered into Fyora’s abode by a smiling Light Faerie, and we found Fyora waiting for us in a spacious, tastefully furnished room. “Sit down, young Neopians,” she said, indicating a comfortable sofa that felt like sitting on a soft cloud! “Have some of my special Faerie Tea!”

     Faerie Tea in hand, I took out my scrolls and quills and began to pen down the Faerie Queen’s responses…

     Me: Greetings, your Highness. Since all of Neopia is gearing up to celebrate Fyora Day, a day dedicated to your Highness, we thought it fit to convey to them your valuable opinions on Faerie Fashion.

     Fyora: Of course, young Draik! What a beautiful suggestion!

     Me: Well, according to your Highness, what is the most indispensable aspect of style?

     Fyora: Style is influenced by how you, as a Neopet, use the items you have. Merely buying expensive wearables and putting them on will not help. You must know what will suit your look and your personality.

     Me: But shouldn’t all the clothes for Fyora Day be Fyora-themed?

     Fyora: Not necessarily, little one. Not every Neopet may want to wear pink frilly skirts! Maybe some pets identify themselves with other colours or themes. So you can wear faerie-related items, not necessarily Fyora ones!

     Me: So, if a Neopet, say, likes Dark Faerie items, they can wear them on Fyora Day?

     Fyora: Absolutely! What kind of queen would I be if I decreed that everyone must wear clothes like mine? That’s not fair. Wear what suits you and your personality.

     Me: This was really interesting, your Highness. Do you have any personal recommendations for clothing?

     Fyora: Well, the first step to a good look is a great background, I must say! It will set the tone for your entire outfit. So it would be best if you pick a background keeping in mind the theme of your outfit. Say, you find a strange affinity with Illusen, the Earth Faerie. In that case, the Faerie Circle Background would be a great fit! Similarly, if you like purple and the Dark Faerie, you absolutely must go for the Destroyed Faerie Festival Background. Some of my other favourites are the Entrance to Fyora’s Castle Background, Faerie Cave Background, and Discovery of Faerieland Day Background.

     If you match your background to your outfit theme, you might well be on the way to becoming the best-dressed Neopet out there on Fyora Day! Who knows, perhaps the faeries may grant you some special wishes...But don’t tell them I said so! What you can count on is winning the Customization Spotlight. :)

     Me: Wow, I never thought of that. It’s a genius idea! Your Highness, since all faeries have wings, but only some Neopets do, would it be a good idea to wear wings for the celebrations?

     Fyora: OF COURSE! Oops, sorry, I got a little too excited when I heard “wings”. Ahem. You must mention this to no one. Moving on, yes, wings would be an excellent addition to your costume. My favourite picks are Brilliant Purple Faerie Wings, Dark Faerie Magic Wings, Faerie Queen Wings and the Dainty Faerie Wing Skirt.

     What? Of course you can fly! Faerie wings are designed for that very purpose. You can fly over Neopia, watching people argue on the Neoboards, or maybe throw Cool Neggs at everyone. Or maybe just be a good Samaritan and drop free food from the sky. Everyone loves free food, right? Well, the Dark Faerie Magic Wings are another matter altogether, as I have heard they can be used for sinister purposes. Shh, no, don’t tell anyone I said that!

     Me: I never thought we could have so much fun with Faerie Wings! Now, there are so many trinkets and other wearable items for sale in the shops. Could you please recommend a few personal favourites?

     Fyora: Of course! I have so many, I love trinkets!

     Floating Fyora Faerie Doll: I love this one the most, of course, because it’s made for me! Won’t it be lovely to have a replica of me floating around near you all the time? You can play with the doll, and if anyone is rude to you, just hold the doll and pretend you are doing some mysterious Faerie Magic. I am sure they will run far, far away!

     Faerie Gem Earrings: If you love jewellery, I am sure these earrings would be a lovely addition to your look. They will surely be a hit with everyone! I am sure you will get an edge in the Beauty Contest and the Customisation Spotlight if you wear these. However, please be careful - some stealthy denizens might just try to steal them! And whatever you do, do not wear them in the battledome. You don't want them to break, do you?

     Faerieland Official Team Badge: Now that the Altador Cup is just around the corner, what better way to show your support other than this team badge? You are supporting Faerieland, right? I might not give you any quests if I spot you with any other team badge…

     Faerie Bubbles Necklace: Faerie Bubbles is one of my favourite games! It's just so relaxing, I could pop bubbles all day...so this necklace is perfect to calm you down after a bad day. What? No, this necklace will not help you get that elusive avatar. Nice try.

     Earth Faerie Eye Shadow: I personally love the colour green, and this eye shadow will just add that pop to your look! Yes, it's the same one used by Illusen herself. Maybe it will help you complete her quests. No, no, don't tell her I said that!

     Me: Oh, thank you so much your Highness. I have so many customisation ideas! So many things to buy!

     Fyora: You might want to remember that all of these cost Neopoints or Neocash, young one. I can see your owner giving you the side-eye over there. Come on, both of you, let me treat you to some tea.
