The Search for the Light Faerie: Part One

The Journey Begins

“I wish I could meet her,” said Paprika the glass colored Shoyru to her friend Miimii the green Scorchio as they looked at Paprika’s poster of the Light Faerie.

“Me too,” sighed Miimii. Paprika got up and went into the kitchen and opened the blinds.

“Do you want something to eat Miimii?” Paprika questioned. Miimii shook her head, “I need to leave.” Miimii got up and said bye as she walked out the front door.

The next morning Paprika was awakened by the sound of rain pounding down on the roof of her house. She Stood up and threw on her fluffy, towel-like, pink robe and went into the living room and turned on the news.

“Rain, rain, and rain in Neopia Central today with a high of 50 degrees and winds at 30 m.p.h.,” announced the meteorologist.

“Great, JUST GREAT,” Paprika said sarcastically. She turned off the television. Slowly she walked to the kitchen and poured a bowl of cereal and ate quietly. Suddenly an idea hit her, she quickly turned the news back on.

“I may only be 20 days old,” said Paprika, “but I won’t be stopped.”

“Tomorrow’s weather, Sunny with a chance of a few drizzles with a high of 85 degrees And winds at 5 m.p.h.,” said the meteorologist.

Paprika snatched the phone, “Hi, Miimii, meet me at Neocentral Park tomorrow at twelve. I don’t have time to explain right now, bye.” She hung up and went to pack her bags for her adventure that she planned to begin tomorrow.

“What are we doing here!” screamed Miimii as she walked over chiichii hill.

“It’s a surprise!” Paprika shouted in reply. Once Miimii had come down the side of ChiiChii hill Paprika told Miimii that they were going to find and meet the Light Faerie.

“HAHAHAHAHA!!” Miimii giggled hysterically. Paprika pushed a plump and heavy backpack into Miimii’s hands, and reluctantly Miimii began to walk through Mynci forest.
