Click here to see how this story started! Fly-High Troubles at The Faerie City Bathys and Bruce walked past the cave. An amazing large hill of clouds separated them from the city. "We'll never get over that hill today," Bruce said sadly. Bathys looked down in sadness. His eyes roved the ground and found two things: a Faerie Paint Brush and a strange potion. "Look!" cried Bathys. "What?" Bruce was extremely tired. "A paint brush! Were in luck!" Bathys answered. "But we can't do anything with it." They both sighed. Then Bathys thought something up, "Hey! I can paint myself and grow wings! I could fly to the Faerie City!" "What about me?" Bruce asked. "I'll carry you. Let's bring the potion too." After a one-hour process, Bathys was fully painted. "OK. Now give me the potion," Bruce said. Bathys threw it to him. Unfortunately, Bruce is not a good catcher, and it crashed and broke at his feet. A blue-green steam came rising up. Bruce started coughing and wheezing, and before long, he passed out. *** Bruce woke up with a headache. "Where am I?" he said woozy. "Thank goodness you woke up! You've been out for about an hour." "At least everything's all right," Bruce sighed. "I wouldn't say that yet…" "Why?" "Well… I hate to say it but… it's just…that potion…" "What's wrong?" Bruce asked desperately. "Look at your hand." Bruce took one look at his hand and shrieked. It was blue and ended in a paw! "That potion turned… you into… a Faerie Blumaroo," Bathys said. "They've got to change me back!" he screamed, "We need to fly over to that city as fast as we can!" They flew over to the city as fast as their little wings could carry them. At last they saw a huge palace in the distance. "That must be the Faerie Palace!" They flew to the front gate. Two guards were stationed there. "We need to see the Faerie Queen!" said Bathys. "No access unless scheduled by an appointment," the guards said coldly. "But…" Bruce protested. "Appointments can be made over there. Now move." Bathys and Bruce flew away quickly. "The guards are no help," said Bruce, sipping his Kabuggle Mocha in the Faerie Café, "We need to get in there somehow." "I agree," Bathys said, "Maybe we could sneak in. It could be fun." "Are you crazy? We'd be destroyed!" "Do you have any other suggestions?" "Fine. I'll try it your way." That night they flew in quietly. Both of them wore ski masks in case they were caught. They soon saw an unlocked window. "Shhhh…" Bruce said as they made their way in. They closed the window with a CREEK! They jumped at the noise. "I hope no one heard that," Bathys said. They tiptoed past many rooms until they heard someone sleeping. They peeked their heads in, and there was the Faerie Queen! They tiptoed to her bedside and shook her. "Oh…Water Fae…enou… I need…eep…" she mumbled. They shook her more. "What…?" she said groggily. Bathys and Bruce quickly explained the situation to her… Meanwhile… VirtuPets Space Station "Yoouuu jeeerrkk! Dooon't you kkknnow nnever tooo gettt Gruundoos mmmaddd?!" said Pant Devil 4291. "Ssshhut uppp! I'm tttrryyinng tooo sstteer thhhis tthhing!" retorted Pant Devil 23576. "Nnnooo! Wwweerrre gggooing too crasssh!" The space ship flew into the Neopian Atmosphere… Faerie Palace "Oh… Wow! I'll get the Water Faerie here right away!" the Faerie Queen said. They waited a while, and Bathys told her about the NeoHome for pets. The Water Faerie came and turned Bruce back. Then the Faerie took a wand and a bag out. "This is a Bag of Infinite Neggs and a Wand of Supernova. These will help in getting your items back from the Pant Devils. Also, because of your kindness towards NeoPets, I bless both of you. Bruce, you can now change back into that Faerie Blumaroo. Bathys, you now can erect a shield of Ice against your opponents." Both Baths and Bruce thanked the Faerie Queen for her generosity. They were being escorted out when they tripped over an astray wand. They fell out a window and into Neopia… To be continued... |
