Hitting it Big as a Newbie in Neopia

Hello pets and users everywhere. I recently read some great newbie articles in the 51 issue of the Neopian times. Then I noticed, I didn't recently go wrong anywhere. So I decided to check my store and found out that seven items has been bought, no wonder I had been going nuts on my store items! I thought no one would buy them. I was wrong...

Opening a Store

First of all, you have to have some casual stuff, like take me for instance, I hosted a Lightning Gun, Trumpet of Blasting, two Trumpets of Deafening and a Basic Lightning Beam. I put them at good prices, not too expensive, not too cheap. And at very reasonable and casual prices, which is my policy. Like this:

Whoa, some shops actually sell Chuffer Bob and Bruce B's for 10-20 NP! Crazy, eh? Well, I still sell them for my prices! 'Cause they are rare and are worth 2300 NP! Mine is a huge discount enough! Also, be sure to have the occasional 25-50% sale or something like that. Maybe even a contest that's easy to get into.

So I got a total of 3325 NP waiting at my till. It sold in six days, and I was on a budget, to save money. As newbie, I did well. Notice how smallish1, masterzigg22 and dennyz kept coming back for more? My prices were good, and I estimated, without the Shop Wizard Trick! (You know, I gotta try that someday!) It'll keep NeoPet users coming back. Some shops sure kept me going back! Plus, I usually put my old stuff in my store when I'm not giving it to my NeoFriends. It's good business. :)

Don't put in background, just the regular automatic style, not too flashy. But if you want, have a Neobadge, NeoRing, link to a simple guild or a nice background. People don't like shops that take too long to load.

Getting NP

The big one here is games. I recently read an article on this, and I was shocked that they didn't mention Super Bullseye! I, of course, am not a big expert on it, but when you get good at Super Bullseye, it can give you from at least 400 NP to 975 NP. Like all games, you can only send your score three times. But hey, if you play everyday or on a nicely planned scheduled basis, you can have it reeling in no time.

Don't forget Meerca Chase, when you get good, play Hard levels to get some serious NP! Also, there's Blackjack. What's good about this is that there's no limit to winning NP. But the bad thing is that if you aren't lucky, you'll lose massive NP. Believe me, although I didn't lose that much. Try Grundos Gym, pays fairly well and has advantages, giving you free food and also, letting you train your pet so you can use the big battle items like the Sword of Domar or a Large Metal Shield.

Make sure you see those sponsors! Also get a discount card and don't forget to get a Bank Account. The Bank can stop your money from being stolen. I keep my money in the bank, but if I need it, I take it out!

The Stock Market is a very a profitable and dangerous place. Here, buy what you think you should, and don't buy too many shares, unless you're really sure you should. It can bring the money home! Also, be sure to refer people to NeoPets!

Do you have a Theme Park? No? Then get one! They can make good money, but don't get carried away. You don't want to waste ALL your money, do you?

Rare Items

I also keep my money in the bank, and you have to have SOME luck. I found a rare red Negg on the floor from the Easter Bunny, a Mau Codestone and more. You should keep those in a Safety Deposit Box.

Battling

I have the occasional, Trumpet of Deafening, Eyrie Rainbow Flash, Sword of Domar and a Frost Cannon and some more stuff. I can't tell you my whole battling system. :) Anyway, have you ever wondered about the mystery of the Frost Cannons? Why one costs more? Here's the whole deal:
