Planning Ahead

You may of noticed by now I'm a persistent Neopian Times writer. Why is that? Well, I'm not all that super rich yet, and when I do get really rich, I hope the Newbies and poor people won't complain to me! So that's why I give out tips. I'm sharing a strategy that has worked for bunches and bunches of people. It's called Planning Ahead. How does this work? Read on.

Short Story
"Hey guys, our owner is back home!" yelled splashgold the Yellow Koi. He was so excited to show his owner, epk, the new book he had bought from a nearby shop. He had already read it, the other 2 pets wanted to read it also.

"Hi splashgold. What's that?" epk (that's me!) asked.

"It's a new book!" the three of them yelled at the same time.

Epk was glad at his pets purchase. The books had just gone over a quick makeover in graphics, the new Faerie Books had just been released, meaning the NeoPets Staff had something up with the items we all know as books. They all read the book and inserted it into the safety deposit box.

The next day egold the blue Uni was over at his (well, now he is a she) friend's house. They pulled out the book Nimmos for everybody to read. When they had finished reading, the book had disappeared into thin air. They were told shortly after that books now disappear when they are read.

The price for splashgold's book had gone up by a few NP. He sold it and made a profit.
End Short Story

Did you learn anything? That's correct! Books are higher in demand because you need more of them, especially if you have more then 1 pet. It appears that splashgold the Koi had bought an item that there was a lot of focus on. He used three clues to think that he would make a profit.

1. The books had just started to change looks.
2. Faerie Books, a new item, came out. There is some focus on your pets IQ...
3. The Faerieland Employment Agency (back then) was being built. Most likely the IQ stat was going to be a factor.

Well, so we know books are going to be a important item. So what? Play a few games with that Chiazilla! And try Kiko Match, spend it all on books, repeat. If you have those items ahead of time, that's pretty much saying you are buying your own NP.

When has this happened? Books, we know, have this. Also, Codestones, Neggs, and Snow Food all had this happen, you just have to be alert. Here are some nowadays items I'd recommend investing in:

Gift Items
The new concerts give out posters-which are a Gift Item. Could it be possible that Gift Items are going to be able to be placed within the NeoHome?

Plushies
With a toy Cybunny here, and a toy Grundo there, here a Techo toy, there a Quiggle toy, every where a plushie, the NeoPets Toy Store has a farm...of plushies! The flood of plushies might mean something. Aren't they collectible? Does that mean they could be put in the NeoHome?

Trophies
A lot of focus have been on the high score table lately and also competitions give these out. Does that mean they can be displayed in the NeoHome?

So, are these suggestions good enough for you? If an item changes image, more of them come out, or there's a new feature, it sounds like you should buy some! Go ahead, try these tips. See if they work. Oh yes, I think I'm going to need a trophy, can you guys all stop playing Tyranu Evanu for a while so I can get a high score? :-)
