Mavena's Revenge: Part Three

Cloudie checked all of the shopping areas, the marketplace, the High Street and the bazaar. She checked through the notice board, bank, Battledome, and pet central areas. No luck. Meanwhile, The Beader looked through all of the game areas, and other worlds. No luck. They met back at the Pizzaroo after a half hour of endless searching had passed.

"Now what?" said a disappointed Cloudie who hoped to catch Mavena herself.

"Well, there's one place we haven't checked yet!" said The Beader.

"What's that??" asked Cloudie.

"The news area, let's go!" said The Beader as she motioned for Cloudie to follow her. The news area was always surrounded by pets and owners begging to get their guild or shop in the news for everyone to see.

Today was different. There were protesting pets and owners with large signs saying, "MY Neopoints are not YOURS" and "I'M KEEPING MY NEOPOINTS" and so on. Cloudie and The Beader glanced at each other and knew that something was wrong, and Mavena had something to do with it.

They entered the news area and asked a N.N.E (NeoPets News Employee) where they could read the latest news. He explained that they were to go up the stairs, take a left, two rights and enter the door marked "Current". It would have been easy for Mavena to put whatever she wanted in the news considering that no NeoPets employees were there to stop her and N.N.E's could not update or change the news. The only reason that SHE could update the news was because she had taken the key to the "Editing" room from one of the NeoPets employees that she was holding hostage.

They were quick to get there and when they did, they were shocked to see the latest news:

• NeoPets is doing some testing. Every owner in Neopia has to donate 90% of their Neopoints to the owner: If you don't do this, and believe me, I will KNOW, you and your pets will be permanently banned from Neopia.

The Beader and Cloudie were shocked! They had to put this to a stop but they could not update the news either! The only thing that they could do now was to find Mavena and get the "Editing" room key so they could change this information and put Mavena in Neojail for life!

But where could she be??
