Seacat's Mystery Island Home
Seacat started life as a flotsam and traveled all over the Neopian oceans. Seacat enjoyed the companionship of pirates, who were a cheerful lot. Seacat grew bigger and stronger as a flotsam, his dream was to be able to enjoy his pirate mates and the locations they visited and not have to stay in the water and swim. An old pirate captain told him of a Secret Laboratory and a scientist that could change his species, so he visited the scientist and his ray. Now he flies or hops, swims, runs or walks, depending on the species the scientist decides is fit for the occasion. He's grown stronger and more healthy, as well as met many new friends in the Battledome arenas where he enjoys practicing his fighting skills.

Seacat collected artifacts and photographs from locations visited, reminding himself of where he has been. After many years of this life as a wanderer, he decided to build himself a home on Mystery Island where he could stop and enjoy his life and memories.

Considering his great love of travel and showing a talent for art and photography, Seacat became an artist. His travels not only affect his paintings and illustrations but are also reflected throughout his home. Let's take a look and you'll see what I mean.

The gardener has quite a large job, from the "courtyard" to the "backyard shed" he keeps the hedges trimmed, cleans the statues and makes sure the fish are fed. Be sure to introduce yourself, he's quite a happy guy and very proud of his work.

Seacat is inspired when looking at the desert flowers and is reminded of his flotsam beginnings and his pirate friends by the large amount of water that surrounds his home.

Illustrations for children's books are Seacat's specialty and a few pages of his artistry can be seen sprinkled throughout the home. He often paints pictures of his family's special events, such as his sister Julia's wedding at her home on nearby Krawk Island. Seacat has a special affection for his sister. A cozy room for her overnight visits makes her quite comfortable to play her piano or read, unless she feels like visiting with other guests in the Islandberry Lounge. A special beginning of the day is to have breakfast with Julia on the patio that overlooks the topiaries.

The "Crow's Nest" on the top floor is a place for Seacat to visit when he needs private time or just wants to admire his entire estate.

Thank you for visiting Seacat's home and do come back occasionally. I hear Seacat will be painting a new series of Island scenes, you wouldn't want to miss those.
