How do I change my password or information?
Go to My Prefs, here you can change your password, email address and what other people can find out about you. There is a link to this page, directly from the help section. When you are choosing a new password, try not to pick an easy to guess one such as password or neopets. Try adding some numbers e.g happy3356. Make sure you choose something you can remember, or write it down and keep it in a safe place.

If you are under 13 and haven't sent in the Consent Form, we cannot allow you to enter any personal information, but you can change your password.

Someone asked me for my password!

Do not give anyone your password. No member of Neopets staff will ever ask you for it. If anyone asks you for your password, it is a scam. They are trying to steal your account. You can see a list of the most common scams that people try on the Wall of Shame.

If anyone asks for your password, report them using this form and our abuse team will take care of them. If you have told anybody your password, go to Your Prefs and change your password immediately.
