Welcome to Eternal Curse of Maraqua, a gallery dedicated to the decades old battle between the city of Maraqua lead by our noble King Kelpbeard and the pirate crew lead by the fearless Captain Scarblade.

I am Goregas, petpet Gulper to Isca, a young Maraquan Aisha girl with prophetic dreams who foresaw the calamity that befell upon us. It was thanks to her warnings that we were able to prepare for the pirate assault, and thanks to her quick action that another pirate named Garin was able to survive drowning after he was mercilessly attacked by Captain Scarblade. Additionally, when Garin's second-in-command Jacques was captured by the mysterious siren trio The Drenched, it was Isca who helped save and reunite him with Garin. Isca even dared to contest the authority of King Kelpbeard who exiled her sister Caylis after her sister's own prophetic nightmares caused misfortune to the city, fighting against all odds to bring her sister justice.

Isca organized this gallery to memorialize this period of time to ensure it is never erased from Neopian history, and I am entrusted with watching over its contents.
