My name is Pugsy,
I am a spardel!
I am so very special,
Cannot you tell?

My mommy loves me,
Cause of what I did for her,
She was so happy
She petted my fur!

We were out at the park
She was throwing the ball
And wanted me to chase it
But I wouldn't at all.

As you can see,
My eyes are messed up
And that makes me
A near-sighted pup.

I just couldn't see it
I could not find that ball!
I looked everywhere
But it was no where at all!

Then I sat on a rock
And whined in despair
Then my owner came along
And saw me sitting there.

Instead of a scolding
(As I had expected)
J.D. petted me
Instead of rejected!

She told me "Good Boy!
I am so proud of you!
You found some money for me,
And some glasses for you!"

Then I took a close look,
And my! what surprise!
I could actually see!
I was using my eyes!

J.D. latched on my leash
And we left the park
For we had to get home
Before it turned dark.

"How much money is there?"
J.D. was asking about
"How did he find?
I don't know, I can't count!"

"Goodness is me!
It is one hundred and six
THOUSAND NEOPINTS!
Think of what we could buy with this!"

Now,they let me sleep in the house
And give me all things I wish
(Except for that super-cool,
Personalized food dish!)

That is pugsy's story! The story of how he found many neopoints (most of which we donated, by the way) will be passed down for generations to come!
