A red Zafara wanders in, and stands on the stage looking lost, seeing the audiance she brightens and beckons to something behind her, suddenly a small and solemn Deaver darts in and stares around and looks at his owner expectantly.

The zafara clears her throat and smiles weakly at the crowd
"Hi everyone" the zafara says accompying the words with a wave "I'm Myreaki and this is Naethyn, my deaver" at his name the deaver's 'antennae' quiver slightly "Um we're here to enter the um competition and to tell you about my petpet, this is our first time here, but its a nice distraction from my friends petpet Fearn going missing..."

"Anyway, I thought I'd tell you how I met Naethyn. Me and my friend, a cybunny called Traenoa were walking around krawk island with Traenoa's yullie bounding ahead... I was going to go for a walk while Traen went to play krawps. As I was walking by the shore I saw some driftwood coming in, nothing unusual I thought, maybe a ship sunk another or something, but then I saw this figure on one of the pieces clinging on. I went out and pulled the plank in and there was a deaver on board. He was all starved and scared. His ship was bound for the pet shop but the smugglers tried to steal the cargo and in the commotion he'd jumped overboard."

"I took him home and looked after him, but he didn't speak to me.. But then I was playing Guess the Card and he suddenly came up and gave me a hug, and we've been best friends ever since" The Zafara suddenly seems to realise how many people are here and blushes before exiting quickly, But little Naethyn suddenly comes forward and waves cautiously at the audiance, before he too hurries out.
