About Punky:

She was told she could never make music. She had doors thrown in her face but Punky stayed strong. She was determined to make the music she loved. Punk of course:)

So she was sitting on the curb that she had grown to love, picking away at her guitar, hoping nice people would drop change into her jar. It was cold outside of the Toy Shop, but she played away. Playing her music opened her soul and she felt the only true happiness she had ever felt in her life. After a good days work, she decided to head to The Bakery, for a cookie. On the counter as she was ordering her cookie, she noticed a flyer, "Calling all musicians!! There will be a small concert here tonite at 7 o'clock. Bring your instrument to play for us! See you there" Punky was so excited, she ran all the way home grabbing her cookie on the way without paying.

She put on her whitest fur coat and got ready to play that night. Later on 5 minutes before she was ready to go onstage she got the butterflies. She was so nervous! She couldn't play her guitar right. "What am I gonna do??" punky thought to herself. But right at that minute, she saw a person she reconized....... it had to be the lead singer off of "Good Pawkeets!!" Punky was so excited, and he was heading right her way! He stopped in front of her and looked her in the eye, "Your looking nervous...need some advice?" Punky was in so much shock all she good do was nod her head. When he saw her reply he continued. " Well I know you probably hear this all the time, but I swear it works! Just remember this one good point of advice........perform in front of the audience and pretend they are in the underwear!" Punky looked at him with wide eyes. "Thats your advice?? Jeesh from a famous star like you I thought you would at least have something better!" But he just smiled at her. "Trust me, it will work. Oh Look they are calling your name!"

So Punky walked on stage still shaking her head from the useless point of advice. "It ain't going to work, what is he thinking?!" But as Punky looked into the crowd, she knew she had to give it a try. So Punky imagined them all in their underwear. She realized that being on stage maybe was not that scary. And she played the best she had ever played in all her years. She poured her heart and soul into her music, and got the greatest cheer from the crowd all night. She realized that maybe the seems that may sound stupid or silly just might be the best advice of all. :)
