 Petpet Name: Giggles Owner: ravensley Pet Name: pusspuss209 Breed: Christmas Orbulon About Giggles: I am an Orbulon, one of many a Space Faerie Scratchcard prize. I am, however, also unique. My uniqueness comes from my owner, a lovely royal Aisha. She won me on a Friday afternoon; the Space Faerie handed me to her. I remember, I was scooped out by two warm paws and was face to face with her. I flopped down in her palms; she smiled warmly at me and gently poked my tummy. I couldn't help it, I giggled. "Huh, giggly little fella, aren't you?" she said softly. "Well, Giggles, you're with me now." This is still not what makes me so unique, though. Certainly, my princess is the fairest in all of Neopia, but what makes me unique came later -- much, much, later. As you can tell she named me Giggles, and I truly was with her. You see, my princess is also unique; she doesn't stay in a big castle and have servants to cater to her every whim. She loves to travel and explore Neopia, and I travelled with her. We travelled together, going here and there, wherever her fancy would take us. It was on one such trip that took us to Terror Mountain and the Advent Calendar. This marks the beginning of what makes me so unique, for -- on that 22nd Day of Giving -- the Advent Calendar gave out a Christmas Petpet Paint Brush. You may be thinking that my princess painted me Christmas at the Petpet Puddle. You'd be correct, for shortly after leaving the Advent Calendar my princess dragged us to Neopia Central so that I could be painted. A Christmas Orbulon isn't all that unique, you say? Well, you'd be right; I'm sure there are several of us who are Christmas, but no, I am unique among my kind, but I'm getting ahead of myself. We headed off to the Petpet Puddle to have me painted. All seemed well; I emerged from the waters of the puddle no longer blue, but white, and in place of my usual hula hoop I had a hoop of holly (it still spun just like the hula hoop, if you’re wondering) and finally my little purple cap with glowing puff was replaced by a small green and red cap with a little bell. As I said, on first glance, all seemed well. The Christmas Petpet Paint Brush and magic of the Petpet Puddle had done their job. I was a Christmas Orbulon! After much rejoicing, we headed off to the Neolodge for some rest before we'd leave on our next adventure. It was at the Neolodge that we discovered my uniqueness. You see, my princess gently poked my tummy; that always makes me giggle. As I giggled, a stunned look appeared on my princess' face. "Giggles! Your bell is glowing!" This clearly was not supposed to happen, as it was just a bell! To prove her point, however, she placed me in front of the mirror and poked my belly again. Inevitably, I giggled and my bell lit up! This, as you've probably surmised, is what makes me unique. If you were expecting me to sprout wings or something, then you really need to re-read my story.
