 Petpet Name: Pudge Owner: sokcer_champ Pet Name: __Hunter3000 Breed: Droolik About Pudge: Hunter and his petpet Pudge trekked across the grassy fields of Meridell. It was as good a day as any to be paying a visit to the Mysterious Symol Hole. As the neared the hole, Hunter stopped. "All right, Pudge. Jump in there and get me something good. And please, no more Stained Glass Symol Windows. You bring those back every time." Pudge looked at Hunter, then the whole, then back again. "No," he deadpanned. Hunter's eyebrows rose off his head. Pudge had never refused a request before, and it was an odd time to start. "No? What do you mean 'no'? We do this all the time!" "I mean I'm not going down there anymore. You have no idea how traumatizing it is for me. Every day you send me down some dark hole where I can't see anything, and all I can hear is the scratching of Symol feet. Not only is it entirely creepy, but you don't know what kind of danger could be lurking down there. Just last week my friend Gallion said she saw the Spider Grundo while she was looking for neopoints. And I heard of an Altachuck who swore he saw Dr. Sloth gathering an army of brainwashed robots. Who knows what else could be down there? I certainly don't want to be the one to find out. So no, I’m not going in." Hunter sighed in defeat. "All right, I guess you don’t have to go if you don’t feel comfortable. Well, there goes an opportunity to make some quick cash." He paused. "How about if I go down there first to check it out. You know, make sure it's safe. I’m sure whatever is lurking there will high-tail it once they see a ferocious Lupe like me." Pudge considered this for a moment. "Fine. I'll go down if you go first, but you’ll need this. That hole was made by a Symol. Even I have trouble getting through it." Pudge took a Downsize out of his back pocket and gave it to Hunter. Taking it in his paw, Hunter immediately shrank down to petpet size. "Okay. Here goes nothing." Hunter wiggled down into the hole head-first. With his front paws, he cleared out any rocks that were in his way. Eventually, he came to a small, dimly-lit clearing. "Hey. It's not so bad in here. Yeah, it's a little musty, but it's not entirely unpleasant. Wow, I can't believe the stuff that's down here. A neopet could get rich off of all this." He crawled in a little deeper. "Whoa, I would have never thought there would be so many things down here. It's like someone raided Neopia Central and stock piled everything down here. T-shirts, wind-up toys, plushies, statues…wait a minute. What are all these bones buried here for? What was that noise? Aaaaaah! Ouch!" Hunter shot out of the hole as fast as he could, holding his tail tightly in his paw. A few of the hairs fell out onto the ground. "Oh my goodness, I think something bit me!" Pudge merely raised his eyebrow. "Maybe you should have canonballed." THE END
