Quote of the Week
"There was a feeling of ease, of peace that the siblings had little experience with growing up during the Great Meridell Wars (although the Citadel preferred to call them “The Orb Wars.”) Seeing that peace for themselves, it almost seemed surreal, as if someone had trapped them in a dream and only showed them their most fervent wishes. Serian looked especially uncomfortable, picking at his jacket whenever a stray petal stuck to the surface."
Moo-vers And Shakers; The Top 5 Kaus of Neopia
Kaus. Introduced to Neopia on the twenty-sixth day of Swimming, Year Two, and beloved by all who meet them, except maybe a few rude Buzz, ever since. There's nothing quite like watching a good old-fashioned fencing throw-down between two Kaus of equal Horn Level. Or maybe you've heard a Kau at karaoke, earnest and beautiful and only jumbling a few of the words up. There's over five million Kaus and counting in Neopia, but we're narrowing it down to the stars that shine the brightest, the pinnacles of Kau performance, the top five Kaus of Neopia! |
Some Wacky Ways To Improve The Altador Cup!
The Altador Cup is in full swing as I’m writing this article, and the players are grinding away at the games! We’re playing Yooyuball, slinging slushies, making tons of noise, and shooting Yooyus past Jelly Chia goalies! That said, I have to admit that sometimes the games can be monotonous! We grind away at the games over and over again, levelling up in ranks, and racking up prize points, not because we particularly love maxing out Make Some Noise (401 times a day!), but because we want to reach All-Star status and have a ton of prizes at the end. |
| Interview With Imperial Exam Students
Stutters, sweating, and salty tears. This scene isn’t your typical workout, nor is it the Coffee Cave during the morning rush. We’re in Shenkuu outside the Imperial Exam, where these young Neopians are lining up for a test that could change their lives forever. My Ixi, Hermiette, and I will be interviewing some of these students as they practice their spelling. |

"A Day in the Life of a Very Rich Slorg" by cryistalene Deep in the heart of the Haunted Woods, nestled amongst the dreary blackened foliage, a small moss-covered tree stump can be found. This stump, while it may appear unremarkable at first glance, has a certain charm. Small, speckled mushrooms decorate the top and sides of the stump and a small carved door can be found if one is careful enough to look. Inside this stump, a very small Slorg rests peacefully in a bed of moss. You might be asking yourself “Why am I listening to a story about a Slorg?” and this is a very understandable question. |
"Castle Planners Journal: The Buried Medallion" by ferretboy85 Gaius the Bori climbed up the tall pile of dirt that he had created, and wiped some of the mud off his claws. Up a couple of feet higher on the dirt pile, he could get a slightly better view of the floor plan he had made so far. The end-of-Fall chilly air was starting to come in, so he had to dig the foundation for the next building, before the frost kicked in. To make the job harder, he had to dig the trench deep enough to be below the frost, a few feet down. |
"The Littlest Roo Island Fan" by nickythewizard It was a bright and warm afternoon in the Altador Colosseum, and the crowd was certainly energetic! They were all watching Roo Island play against Altador in a match of Yooyu Ball. Both teams were currently tied up with each other, showing that Altador was certainly a tough cookie to contend with. Pushing through a crowd of people to get to the front seats was a baby Kougra named Javaier, he was a big fan of Roo Island and wanted to get an up-close look of the entire match. |

Watching Petals "Carpets of mountain pinks fringed the pathway of the Meridell Botanical Garden. Lush magnolias, cherry blossoms, and flowering pear trees covered the lawn. Pastel tulips numbering in the thousands spread into the distance. Everywhere, Spingabees and Beekadoodles flit this way and that, happily harvesting nectar from each bloom."
