Quote of the Week
Violet slumped against the door to the library and sighed. She probably messed up her hair, something else for Rosaline to get on her case about. She would never live up to her sister’s expectations, never mind those of her people. If she could even call them that, she thought, she wasn’t really a princess after all was she?
My Neopian New Year's Resolutions
As the Month of Celebrating comes to a close, so too does another year in Neopet’s history books. The year has been long, and not every moment of it was full of laughter and happiness. There were times when I definitely felt a lot of frustration, from missing out on a valuable restock to just barely not getting enough points for a really tough game avatar. |

"The Neopian Artist" by terukiyo "What a lovely drawing,” a Maraquan Acara murmured at a painting of frolicking green Unis, her yellow eyes sparkling.
A few other Neopets—a Xweetok holding hands with a Jetsam, and a lone Eyrie—milled about in the Art Gallery, viewing the old and new artworks on display, though no one was close enough to hear Sapphire if she spoke out loud to herself. The sun was about to set, and the Acara wanted to admire all the new pieces before it grew too late. She loved to draw and paint as well, and often had her own pieces shown and bringing home prizes. |
"How to be a Princess" by rkbear Violet slumped against the door to the library and sighed. She probably messed up her hair, something else for Rosaline to get on her case about. She would never live up to her sister’s expectations, never mind those of her people. If she could even call them that, she thought, she wasn’t really a princess after all was she?Everyone had laughed, so why was she so mad at her? Even their father had thought it was funny. Mother had laughed, and she was a queen. Surely, if queens were allowed to laugh than princesses were. |
"The Case of the Vanishing Shopkeeper" by _polonius_ Candace the Weewoo tapped her wing idly over the messenger bag she carried, just to reassure herself that it was there. It was a little strange, of course, but she felt a little anxious and wanted to reassure herself that the bag (and it’s contents) were safe. She had gotten the strangest missive by post and she had tucked it away in her old bag … unopened. All-day long Candace had gone around delivering the mail and packages in Neovia and waited.

A Shattered Confession:Part Three All eyes were on the back doors of the courtroom as they opened with an echoing boom. A straight beam of sunlight practically split the courtroom in half as Sylvana slowly entered, escorted by two towering knights, a draik and a bori.
