Quote of the Week

"Roses are red, violets are blue,
Fyora's apple orchard is not as sweet as you."

Variety for Valentines

Now I don't know about you, but the first thing that pops into my head when Valentines Day is mentioned is the colour red. Red cardboard hearts, red roses, and even red plushies. Then you go to the shops and you're surrounded by it all, more red cards, more cardboard hearts hanging from the roof, people wearing red, eating red things, selling red flowers and painting their houses red. Well, I guess that last one is a little farfetched, but it's enough to drive anyone insane! So I say...

If Giving Gets Growls

Valentine's Day is a travesty! It ought to be cancelled, or at the very least reinvented. And I think I know exactly how to do that. Maybe. Seriously. If you're going to give a gift, make it good. That's my point. Good gifts bring love and happiness. Bad gifts bring anger and violence. No gifts bring depression and more violence. Nobody likes violence. Some people do. I do, to an extent. But not when it's directed at me! And I'm sure you don’t like that very much, either. It's time to rectify this horrible situation!

Putting the Pet Back in Pet's Page

"The Age of Reason" by rcr311
The Space Station wasn't particularly crowded, which made it a mystery as to why Sloth chose that day for his next invasion. If he had any sense in him, he would have chosen a day when the Station was jam-packed, so he would have a better chance of causing terror. However, that's in the past, and it wouldn't make any sense to wonder any more. On the fifth day of the Month of Hiding, year eight...

"Broken Scarabs" by nut862
He wasn't about to eat the dry cracker, knowing it would only make his throat burn for water. As it was, if the sun got much hotter, the Scarab Cookie would soon be a Burnt Scarab Cookie. Though it was lunchtime, Tomos didn’t feel like moving a muscle to swipe something to eat. Suddenly, a ghost of a refreshing taste came to his mouth, taunting him. Strawberries. Pyramid strawberries...

"Bonju's Punishment" by treenifer
Kentari had done it, avoiding Bonju's gaze. It was logical for him to do it, being the weapons master. He had searched Bonju, checking that he wasn't holding anything that could further harm one of the crew members. "You know that knife really was for cooking," Bonju explained, keeping a hold of as much dignity as a Blumaroo can while having all his pockets turned inside out. Kentari ignored him...
