Top Ten Wearables for Babies - Part Three by auraichadora
--------
Back in Issues 502 and 524, I've written articles ranking – in my personal opinion – the best items for customising our beloved Baby pets. Well, quite some time has passed since I wrote my last article, containing 11-20 of these wearables, and now here's a third part! After all, with so many wearables being released, both NP and NC, there's so many more options to dress up these little cuties! This is another top ten list, starting from number 30 to 21. I would recommend reading the other articles first to see what I've already listed. Also, such as in my previous articles, these are all based on my personal opinions. Let's begin, shall we?
30. Baby Knitted Mittens – NP – Approximate price at time of writing: 25,000NP
This is the first of several NP wearables released for Babies, and they are just the cutest pair of mittens ever! A big plus is that they are cute enough for girls to wear them, but not too girly as to look just fine on boys as well. The only issue I have with these is that I find these to be rather limiting to winter and holiday customisations versus more year-round customisations, hence the place on my list.
29. Baby Summer Swimsuit – NC – Retired (was 150NC)
Finally, now our Babies can go swimming! This pink-and-yellow frilly swimsuit makes sure they are covered and are super adorable once they go into the water. However, there are two downsides to this item: it's definitely girly and sadly there are no boyish substitutes, and the swimsuit is also retired and are currently not being re-released through any sort of capsule, making it a little harder to obtain except through trading with another user. Also, like the Baby Knitted Mittens, it's a little more limited in customisations compared to other items on this list.
28/27. Baby Holiday Ruffle Dress/Baby Tuxedo – NC – Dress is retired, was 150NC; Tuxedo is an LE from Baby Mystery Capsule
Now, I have these tied because of the same reason: they are adorable, super-dressy clothes that our Babies can wear. The dress is red, white, and super frilly while the tuxedo is classic black and makes boys look very handsome. And another plus is that they can be worn all year round, although with being long-sleeved, expect some crying about it being too hot for them in the summertime.
26. Baby Summer Wings – NC – Retired (was 150NC)
Released shortly before the Baby Summer Swimsuit, these cute wings turned our Babies into adorable butterflies! They're pink, sparkling, and fluttery; perfect for our little ones' imagination to start running wild. However, it suffers from the same two problems as the Baby Summer Swimsuit: limited more to girls than boys, and being retired with no current means of re-release. But I do place this a little higher on the list because it's not quite as limited when it comes to customisations as the swimsuit is.
25. Baby Polka Dot Dress – NC – Prize from Baby Wonderclaw Machine (Retired)
Sadly, I continue with the super girly items! This was one of the prizes from the more Baby-exclusive Wonderclaw Machine, and in my opinion of the best prizes. The dress is a little poofy, a pretty pink, and the skirt is covered in cute, little dots. However, like other items listed, it's made namely for girls and is retired, and with being a game item there's a much lower chance of it being re-released currently. At least until TNT decides to fully retire the Wonderclaw game and release suitcases such as they did for Blumaroll and JubJub Power Bounce. But this also has the benefit of being able to be used in more customisation options.
24. Baby Faellie Plushie Friend – NP – Approximate price at time of writing: 200,000NP
Aww, now our Babies can have a friend by their side while they go on their adventures! Another NP item released just for Babies, this adorable plushie sits alongside them – although depending on your Baby's species it can look like they are holding it – and keeps them company. This is a little pricey, at least in comparison to the Baby Knitted Mittens, so it may set you back a pretty Neopoint in order to get this for your little one. However, there are substitutes from the NC Mall, such as the Baby Valentine Feloreena Handheld Plushie and Baby Overstuffed Warf Plushie, that you can always try to trade for from other users if you have the NC items and boxes to spare.
23. Baby Bob Wig – NC – Prize from Baby Wonderclaw Machine (Retired)
Another prize from the Baby Wonderclaw Machine, this wig is one of my favorites. The short bob style is perfect for girls but yet it looks just fine on boys as well. The color is also a gender-neutral shade of brown, and can be used in practically any customisation you want. Again, I have to emphasize that it is retired, and until Wonderclaw fully retires, IF it ever does, this may not be re-released so easily.
22. Polka Dot Baby Jumpsuit – NC – 150NC (currently buyable in the Mall)
This jumpsuit is the perfect everyday wear for our little ones, whether they're out and about playing or taking a nap in their Sweet Dreams Crib. I love this for a few different reasons: it's green with white polka dot design is not too frilly or baggy and is more gender neutral than other items on this list. It's also currently buyable in the NC Mall with no retirement date in sight, making it a lot easier to obtain. Hey, you were wondering what to spend that free 150NC from two weeks ago, right?
21. Baby Rosy Cheeks – NC – Prize from Baby Wonderclaw Machine (Retired)
While this is the last item on this list, if I ever decided to reformat my lists, this would be be in that Top Ten for sure. Out of all of the prizes from the Baby Wonderclaw Machine, this is my absolute favorite and I make sure my Baby wears it in every outfit she has. It's essentially a Baby version of Nutcracker Face Paint or Rosy Cheeks Face Paint. However, although it may seem girly I think that it works just as well on boys. It also can fit every customisation you could think of. Well, except maybe any using the Baby Zomutt Costume Face Paint, of course. I wish I didn't have to say this, but sadly being a retired Wonderclaw prize, it has a very low chance of being re-released at the moment so you would have to try and find a trade. So that's it, the third list in my little series of Top Ten wearables for Babies. However, I truly doubt this will be my last. As long as TNT keeps releasing amazing Baby-centric items, I'll keep ranking them up. Until next time, Happy Customising!
