Week - 711

Beneath the Haunted Woods: Part One
by shadowknight_72
Description: An eerie and unnerving silence filled the air as the siblings made their way through the withering, creaking forest of pale trees. A thick mist shrouded the woodland in an impenetrable cloud. The lanterns did little to fend off the low visibility; the threesome walked cautiously, taking every vigilant step, minding the path ahead and the ground beneath.

Week - 712

Beneath the Haunted Woods: Part Two
by shadowknight_72
Description: “ARTHUR! PARLEBB!” Clara yelled at the top of her lungs as she bashed her fist against the pile of rubble. It was to no avail, as there was no response from the other side of the cave-in. She clenched her fist, her tiny claws scraping the surface of the rocks. She punched the pile of rubble and kicked a small rock, launching it a couple feet into the air before it bounced off the cavern wall. She cursed as pain seared through her bare toes.

Week - 713

Beneath the Haunted Woods: Part Three
by shadowknight_72
Description: There was no time to think; the pale, bulbous eyes and teeth sharper than razors were coming ever closer, slowly slipping out of the cover of darkness. For a moment, Clara was paralyzed. Then her mind spoke to her, muttering one word that gave her the will to move...

Week - 714

Beneath the Haunted Woods: Part Four
by shadowknight_72
Description: Nothing but the sounds of crumbling stones and rock could be heard as Arthur traversed the dark, hollow tunnel, his hand against the wall to keep himself from slipping over the rough, jagged ground beneath him. The red Zafara’s legs ached, his head throbbed and his eyes weary. Small, loose stones that littered the cave floor pinched, stabbed and strained his feet with every step.

Week - 715

Beneath the Haunted Woods: Part Five
by shadowknight_72
Description: “I thought I heard something, like some kind of faint howling. You don’t think there are werelupes down here do you?” She turned to face her brother.

Week - 716

Beneath the Haunted Woods: Part Six
by shadowknight_72
Description: The entire chamber was consumed in pitch-black darkness. The air thick, cold as the ice caves. The only sounds were the distant echoes of water dripping onto the floor and the faint howling of the wind travelling through the many holes and tunnels scattered around the cavern.

Week - 717

Beneath the Haunted Woods: Part Seven
by shadowknight_72
Description: The siblings stuck close to the cavern wall as they made their way through the slanted Cliffside. Clara had her back towards the wall, firmly gripping Parlebb’s arm, keeping her from falling over the edge should she lose balance.

Week - 719

The Nightmare: Part One
by shadowknight_72
Description: The sun shined brightly in a dense forest. Evergreen trees surrounded the field in a thick shade, the leaves and branches rustling in the wind. A lone insect circled around, its wings fluttering, beating the summer air. A pair of hands clasped together, missing the tiny bug by a hair. Arthur stood upright on his toes, smirking at the quickness of the insect.

Week - 720

The Nightmare: Part Two
by shadowknight_72
Description: Dark clouds shrouded the forest in a dim, weakened light, the thick trees casting harsh shadows over the landscape. Arthur's mother and father were busy gathering dry wood and other supplies when they picked up a sudden voice far away in the distance.

Week - 738

A Visionary Nightmare
by shadowknight_72
Description: “Hmm…that explains so much. I never knew that was possible. Its no wonder Arthur’s had the same recurring nightmare for a whole week. Could it be that his adeptness in psychic magic might be affecting his dreams too?”

Week - 837

The Crimson Curse
by shadowknight_72
Description: It had an intricate design, nothing like any other of its kind he had seen before; its base was carved into what looked like tendrils wrapping themselves around the jewel, like a squid ensnaring its prey. He flipped the talisman over, on the back was a carving of a strange winged creature that he could not recognize; its body covered in scales and it had wings comparable in appearance to that of a Shoryu or a Draik.

Foreseeing Kaia’s Future
What’s more magical than a faerie that can see the future? The answer is a faerie whose story has only just begun! While we aren’t blessed with Kaia’s gift, we can speculate at her future in Neopia, and all that she will do by Fyora’s side. This article will examine some of the possible ways the newest faerie will make her mark on Neopia, but it is by no means an exhaustive list. The future isn’t written in stone, after all!

Paranoia
Danner leaned on his desk and rubbed his temples, hoping to coax his blasting headache away. A tiny trail of steam from a piping hot cup of tea wafted slowly toward his head, imparting a most metallic and bitter scent. He did not particularly enjoy tea, let alone this mauled abomination that the castle's potion-master had brewed for him, but it did work for its intended purpose, presumably.

Neopian Spells: who, what, where, why and how?
Spells are powerful things, though not to be confused for spelling (although the correct spelling in casting spells is usually a requirement, some terrible fates have befallen Neopians who have accidentally spelled something wrong whilst casting their spell – for example the poor Lupe who was trying to make a new aisle in his shop and accidentally created a small isle to appear off the coast of Meridell), so both spells and spelling are powerful tools and can be misused in the wrong hands.
