Chronicles of a Caped Crusader: Days Yet to Pass: Part Ten

It took five days to make the necessary adjustments to the machine to send Chloe to the past. Chloe spent most of that time with her little sisters or alone in her room with May. She saw Elise a few more times, but the Cybunny mostly wanted to be left alone with her pain.

The Adventures of Trina: The Glass Key: Part Eight

“Got anything to eat around here?” I said to the sound of my stomach rumbling. Honestly, after seeing the rotting furniture, I was afraid to ask. “Yeah, but you’ll have to stick by me,” the White Kougra said. “You don’t have clearance there yet.”

Lupe Pack Detectives - The Kidnapped JubJub: Part Four

Three days had passed since our first attempt in finding the kidnapped JubJubs miserably failed. We were starting to become restless due to the fact that we had a lack of clues, but I was not going to go back home to Neopia Central empty-handed and disappoint our clients.

Eye of the Crokabek: Part Two

Tim gulped as he scrambled through the tunnels of Moltara on his way back to the surface. No wonder everyone was too frightened to talk about it. But what could one Yurble like Tim do against the might of the Sway?

Venn and the Isolated Island: Part Two

The weather became increasingly stormy. The ship's path was one that passed through the outside of the massive storm surrounding Lutari Island; few ships took this course. The whole reason Lana went on this trip, aside from acting as the ship's engine mechanic, was to study the mysterious storm, for she wanted to someday visit it.

"Wildsong" by cosmicfire918
Night in the Haunted Woods falls with swiftness upon its victims. It is not as many stories say—the forest is not rife with yowling spooks and ghoulish spectres at every turn. It is not a scaled-up version of a Neopia Central Neohome’s Halloween decorations, which brashly proclaim frightfulness in the most colourful of fashions. The terror of the Haunted Woods is quieter, more cunning than that. It lies in wait, never fully asleep, a brooding heaviness of barely-heard echoes and strange feelings in the air that taunt the mind until the Woods decides to reveal its darkest secrets. Something is out there – perhaps many somethings – that makes even the bravest and hardiest Neopet return from the Woods forever shaken. Unless they are a Werelupe—and then at one time it was home. Isengrim, the Werelupe King, and a number of his pack stalked through the undergrowth on one of their nightly hunts. It would be many years yet until a fateful meeting would rob them of their keep and cause them to emigrate to Meridell. For now, the Haunted Woods kept them safe from the misunderstanding of the outside world—and provided plenty of resources to keep them fed and comfortable. Night hunts were Isengrim’s favourite. The Haunted Woods was always full of interesting smells, but they always seemed to heighten after sunset. Not to mention his dark fur allowed him to blend in to the shadows far more easily.

The Truth Behind the April Fools’ Clubs
April Fools’ is a fun time on Neopets with pranks both small to elaborate being pulled throughout the day. This year was no different with the main prank being the “Neopian Net Worth Calculator”, a way to determine our “value” we can then potentially flaunt and, most importantly, join a club with.
