Your pet can slurp some Apple Juice, snack on a Bag of Chips, crunch on some Bite Size Celery, and on occasion sip on a Can of Neocola. You can even get a full Healthy Veggie Deluxe Sandwich and a Vegetarian Meat Pie, which can keep your Neopet full with all of its rich veggies and grains! Apple Bobbling Bart can give your pet a wide range of strange apples, and the Tombola can give you a sweet Azzle Fruit salad or a Hanging Fruit Basket. And if they’re feeling up for it you can let them try the Tiny Edible Palm Trees. You can also take your pet to the Movie Central Snack Bar for some soda or popcorn (just make sure to request no butter on it!). And if you're lucky your pet might nab a lucky vegan find at Kiko Pop!

2. Will my pet still be able to eat out with their friends?

Whether your pet enjoys meeting friends at the Coffee Cave or traveling to Shenkuu for some exotics foods, they’ll be sure to find something they can eat! Coffee Cave stocks soy milk from Kau Kau Farms and will be happy to make your pet a warm Soy Chai Latte or a chilly Iced Soy Chai Latte. The Exotic Food shop sells all kinds of vegan-friendly dishes! They can try all kinds of veggie dumplings, like Cabbage Momo and Red Bean Dumplings, sushi items like the Fruit and Vegetable Hand Roll and Tigerbuggle Sushi, and the specialty platters like the Kookith Vegan Platter or the Snorkle Vegan Platter . And if your pet wants to go out for a fancy dinner, there are still options there! Kelp has a vegan Mixed Green Salad and Tropical Fruit Bowl for appetizers, Spicy Radish Salad for an Entrée, and for dessert they can get the Peachpa and Strawberry Shell that is full of delicious sorbet! Even the Golden Dubloon offers some vegan fares. Your pet can try the Tomato Cannon Ball for their appetizer, Pinanna Paradise sorbet for dessert, and they can ask the chef about the crust of the Our Famous Krawk Pie to make sure there are no eggs or butter in it. Or maybe they can get it made vegan by special request.

3. Will my pet start wanting to wear trendy clothes?

While it’s true that vegan diets for Neopets are taking off like storm, not all pets wear trendy clothes and sip Soy Chai Lattes. Some pets wear T-shirts from their favorite bands like Jazzmosis, some wear fancy dresses and high heels, and some wear all black. Your pet is unique and will have their own style regardless of what they eat. They may ask to wear faux fur rather than real fur, and maybe they’ll start asking to have more trees in their customization page ;)

4. Can my pet still be a gourmet feeder?

Of course! All the foods I mentioned from the Golden Dubloon are vegan-friendly and are gourmets, as are Fruit and Vegetable Hand Roll and Iced Soy Chai Latte. And there are many other vegan gourmet foods! Almost all Chia Pops that are gourmets, since they’re just made with water and some fruits, are vegan! The one exception is the Banana Split Chia Pop as it has cream in it, and you might want to shy away from the Tartan Chia Pop unless you can get the Super Happy Icy Fun Snow Shop shopkeeper to explain to your pet which of the almost every flavors that they contain. In Altador your pet can try a gourmet Fig or Grilled Veggie platter, and they can dabble in all the delicious gourmet Brightvale fruits. There are also many delicious Faerie foods like the Faerie Fruit Salad and Dark Faerie Plums that are naturally vegan. Even in space your pet can find some vegan eats! The Cloned Corn might be a little stretch, but the Vegetarian Sloth Wrap is a nice filling entree without the tongue and the Tofu Space Slug Soup is quite expensive, but delicious!

5. Is this just a phase, or will my pet always be vegan?

It's really up for your Neopet to decide. There are soooo many delicious foods that they can try from all over Neopia and beyond, and if they think that they can live without Kau-Kau Farms milk, meat, and Draik eggs, maybe they will become lifelong vegans. Or maybe they'll just try it for a month or two to cut down on some extra pounds. But just be the best owner you can be for your pet as they seek out the best and healthiest lifestyle for them, and help them to feel loved no matter what they choose. Who knows? Maybe they'll find they won't miss those foods at all and will be begging for Soy Chai Lattes when they're meeting friends. ;)
