Wow, can you believe it?! It’s that time of year already and Neopets is turning 26 years old, yes that’s right, you heard me 26 years old; boy, does time fly! Maybe some of you have been playing since you were a child like me in the 2000’s. Oh the memories, how grateful am I that Neopets is still around and gets to celebrate another birthday! Originally called Sloth Cake, it had to be renamed after the following incident. When presented at a banquet honouring Dr. Sloth, everyone was amazed at this cake that glowed in the dark. However, when a slice was consumed, the eater would also glow-in-the-dark! After the initial panic subsided, those that glowed engaged in a game of glow-in-the-dark tag inside the Grundo Warehouse that is still remembered fondly to this day on Virtupets Space Station.
