However, I will do my best to cover all aspects of it, to make your reading
worthwhile!
Training your pets for the Battledome There are several
ways train your pet, and I shall list the following.
ISLAND TRAINING SCHOOL
In order to get your pet’s stats increased her, you have to get a codestone
or codestones. The advantage of using this method is that you are able
to train whatever you want to train your pets in, and also if you are
lucky, you can get a bonus! However, the disadvantage to this method is
that, the price of codestones are expensive, pets above level 19, have
to pay much more codestones, and wait a much longer time, and might not
be considered worth it.
MAP PIECES (Other than the LAB MAPS)
Map pieces in general, are hard to find, other than the space map. However,
if you are able to piece them or together, your pets will gain levels.
Along with that, you will also receive NP and items. However, one great
disadvantage is that you’ll never know what you get, so it might be better
to sell all the maps, for if you’re unlucky, you might just end up making
a loss.
LABORATORY MAP PIECES
These are by far, the most expensive maps in Neopia. Each piece ranges
from 7500 NP to 9000 NP. There are 9 pieces to collect, and it is very costly.
However, in the long run it still is worth it. You can go to the lab every
day, and you can gain stats much quicker. The bad news is that, you can
also lose stats and get transformed to other species, and also change
gender.
NEGGS
Certain Neggs are able to raise your pet’s stats. These Neggs are best
for higher-level pets. It is cheaper compared to the training school.
Among the Neggs, is the Snegg; it is the Negg, which raises the most stats.
It can raise 6 point of any of your pet’s stats. Still, you can’t choose
the stats you want to raise.
MARAQUA KITCHEN
This pink cute creature at the kitchen often asks you to bring food. However,
recently the prices of the food he asks for has risen. Therefore, if you
can raise a level or any other stat at a cheaper price, then you might
just skip this quest. Also, you’ll never know what your reward will be,
so it is a bit risky.
FAERIE QUESTS
Other than the Earth Faerie, the other Faeries will bless your pet with
better stats. It is the cheapest way to train. So if any of the Faeries
(other than the Earth Faerie) asks you to do a quest, just do it!
