Lab Ray Madness

by fiery_girl, with the help of her pet Kariglia

The Lab Ray - Is it really all worth it? Well, here we interview a pet that has had the ray used on "it"* many times before. * "It" referring to that this pet was once a male but the ray changed its gender.

Reporter: Hello, Kariglia, would you mind telling us about how the Lab Ray has effected your way of life?

Kariglia: Well, it was quite scary the first time. It was dark and gloomy, but my owner was nice and gave me the courage to go on and let things happen. And that's just what I did. And ever since then, I've had more determination to put into things than I've had at any other period of my lifetime.

Reporter: Do you think you could tell us about your "First" life?

Kariglia: Hmmmm... I was first a green Kougra. My owner wanted to paint me Faerie, but never saved up enough because she painted her other pets. Of course I felt left out, but I knew she'd paint me one day. Yes, I liked being a Kougra, and my owner, as soon as she gets enough money to buy a Faerie paintbrush, will use a Kougra morphing potion on me and use the paintbrush then. But that's another story.

Reporter: Now, do you think you could tell us about your first Lab Ray experience?

Kariglia: The first time my owner used the ray was when I was the most shocked--I had turned into from being a male to a female! Of course it wasn't THAT bad, but still I would of liked to be one gender for my whole life.

Reporter: What was your saddest Lab Ray moment?

Kariglia: Probably when I was turned into a green Cybunny.

Reporter: And your favourite time?

Kariglia: When I gained some levels! :)

Reporter: Would you advise using the ray on other pets?

Kariglia: If their owner makes the decision, I have no say in it. But otherwise, experiment and have fun! :)

Reporter: About how long did you think it took your owner to get the full secret laboratory map, and about how much did it cost?

Kariglia: She mostly got her map pieces from the trading post, making offers with Faeries, codestones, etc. But when she bought the needed pieces, it probably cost her around at least 20,000 NP.

Reporter: Could you describe the feeling you got when your owner headed towards the lab?

Kariglia: SCARED! You should of saw my face at first! "But I like being a Kougra!" "What if I turn into a frog?" "Please don't!" Those were the voices that still creep around my mind, but after once or twice, I got used to being "rayed."

Reporter: And, to wrap things up, do you have any last words for owners and their pets?

Kariglia: Be brave, be smart, be loyal, and most of all--Have lots of fun!!!
