Click here to see how this story started! A Frightful Journey Through Haunted Woods Haunted Woods Master Devil was back on the rock. This time, he had arranged a meeting for 200,000 Pant Devils. "Tttthhhisss iisss aaannn eeemmerggganccy," he hissed. "Thhe Nnneeoppox ppiizzza iiss nnooot bbaack yyet. Iif wwee cannot gget itt wittin 24 hhours, oourr pplan willl fffail." A couple of Pant Devils were about to volunteer for the job, but before they could, a large explosion was heard and felt on the roof of the cavern. Everyone thought someone was attacking their cave. Alarms started sounding, everyone was scrambling for the Item Cache behind the big rock. "Bbaattlesssttatiioons!" somebody cried. "Wwwee don't hhavve aanny!" another answered. Then the door to the cave opened… Meanwhile… Skies Above Haunted Woods Bruce quickly turned to his Blumaroo form and started gliding down. They safely touched down on a patch of forest. Suddenly, what looked like a jet fighter came flying down on a big cave far away. It crashed and exploded. "What was that?" asked Bathys. "I don't know!" answered Bruce. "It kinda looked like a spaceship," said Bathys. "Wait! That's a Pant Devil insignia over there! That must be where the Pant Devils are!" They trekked through the expansive forest. Every so often they heard a hoot or scream. "This forest is giving me the creeps, and I'm hungry," Bathys moaned. "We don't have any food," Bruce said sadly. Then Bruce remembered the Negg Bag. He got the bag, put his hand in, and: pulled out a Negg! Bathys and Bruce were overjoyed. They shared the Negg and moved on. They were nearing the cave when a Pant Devil jumped out at them! "Yyyooouu! Mmmassster Dddevvill hass been talllkingg abboutt you. I guesss I'lll havvee tooo disspposse of youuss. He heh!" Then the Pant Devil pulled out a Mutant Gauntlet and started firing at the dynamic duo. Hold it! Mutant Gauntlets' can't fire lasers! Anyway, Bruce turned into the Faerie Blumaroo and flew up high. "Hold him off until I say so!" said Bruce. Bathys erected a circle of ice around himself. Now Pant Devil switched to a different weapon. He brought a Black Frost Cannon out. Oh no! Even with the ice shield, Bathys couldn't withstand a blast that powerful… Meanwhile… Haunted Woods The five Pant Devils rushed out of the wrecked spacecraft and jumped down the cave roof to the cave entrance. "Dooo yoouu hhavvvee thhe Pizzaaa?" one Pant Devil asked. "Yesssss…" the other one answered. All of them flew down to the entrance and rushed through the network of caves. They finally came to the entrance of the Pant Devil HQ. They flew past the Meeting Hall and Cache Room to Master Devil. "Put ittt inn!" Master Devil yelled. They whizzed to the gun chamber and put the pizza in the gun. A series of whistles and flashing lights indicated that the Death Ray was now ready to fire. "Nooowww tooo ttakkke tthee woorllld hooostage," Master Devil said. "Piicck aa tarrgett." The Pant Devil aimed the gun at Mystery Island. "Itt will takke ann hhhourr too pppoowwwwerr upp. Now all weee nneedd tooo ddoo isss waitt…" Meanwhile… Haunted Woods Near The Pant Devil was about to fire the gun, when- Thud! Bruce slammed head on into the Pant Devil's head. "Oohh…Mast…not li…" the Pant Devil said woozily. Then he fell to the floor. He was knocked out. They tiptoed past the guard and found the cave entrance. They flew inside (Remember, Bruce is still in his Blumaroo form) quietly. "I smell Pant Devil," Bathys said angrily. The cave was long and dark, and it took hours to walk through it. Finally, they saw a giant gate with the Pant Devil's mug plastered on it.
