Mutants

Hello, my name is Kaboom. You may have noticed I am a mutant. I'll explain that later, but once I was blue. Beautiful little blue Kaboom the Kacheek, with all the male Kacheeks after her...but that soon changed. Here I'll tell you my tale, though I'm only going to tell it ONCE so don't bother asking me again...

"Come on, sweetie! Time to go shopping!" my owner called from the car.

"Sorry guys," I said to my friends "I have to go now. See you tomorrow and don't forget your homework!!!" My friends laughed and said bye as I went to my owner Maroons car.

As we headed home after getting the tea and a chocolate Chia for my helping, we went the wrong way.

"Maroon, err, where are we going? This isn't Faerieland buildings," my mum said from beside Maroon. My mum is great, I don't know what I would do without her....

"Volcano, I already told you." My mum suddenly went white even though she was red.

"Ah. Shouldn't we get something to play with on the plane there?"

"We'll get something, look, here's a guild, maybe they have a shop?" We pulled up outside a large guild house A big sign had picture of a blue Kougra by the words 'Kougra' and a small palm tree. Like on a Kougra's Web site. A blue Kougra guarded the entrance. Oh, is this a private guild? But the Kougra greeted us.

The main hall had a black carpet with purple walls. There were fuschia coloured doors, five had the names of the council members in light blue. We found the door marked 'Guild Shop', and went through.

Well, it wasn't exactly (the door, I mean) in the Main Hall, it was in the leaders room. I peeped through and saw nobody. We went into the shop and gasped. There wasn't anything! No posters. We decided she didn't have a shop.

We went into the person second in commands shop.

This time, it was size 10, with dozens of posters of faeries. But there was only a bitten red apple at 500 NP.

So we went to third in commands shop. This was size 10, with an elf like dude in command. We did have enough for the few items there, but, they cost 90,000 NP each!! Except for one at 35 NP. But what respectful NeoPet wanted a toy train. Oh well. Fourth time lucky?

As we walked into the fourth shop, we realized it was size 10 and had loads of toys!! There was a green lion called Varian, roaring away to himself. I picked a few plushies, bought them, and left. But before we left, I saw Maroon buy a toy of some sort and slip it in her bag.

Soon, we were at the Neo Airlines. We gave our tickets, and got in. I've been in a plane before. I thought I wasn't airsick, but I soon threw up. Must have been the chocolate. As I put my head through the cubicle, I saw Maroon and mum looking at the plushie which looked like it had a brain in it, gross! Maroon hastily hid it.

As we landed by Happy Valley, we saw a girl in front of me with a cool looking Faerie Chia. She was kind of far away, but I could hear her. My mum wasn't very good at hearing, and Maroon obviously couldn't hear, she just has pathetic human ears. Same with eyesight. By them stood a striped Chia and a Faerie Grundo. They were all smiling with happiness at a first glance. But looking closer they looked scared. There was some man beside them with a long black cloak though, and I even saw a flash of green.

"Come on, sweetie! Do what the Mr. Sloth says!"

I've heard of him, but where from?

"Come ON!"

Where??

"Please do not waste my time. Give the Chia the drink now!"

Doctor Sloth! Of course!!!

"NOW!!"

"Please, sweetie, drink it!!" I couldn't stand it. The Chia was only a child.

I ran.

I ran faster then ever before, on all my legs.

I got there just as the girl was tipping the potion in the Chias mouth, and I knocked it out of the way. I fell on my back, forgot the potion was in midair, and sighed. The nozzle on the end of the bottle landed in my mouth, and all went down. I almost choked, when I felt my body change. My fur changed to a disgusting greenish blue. My brain bulged. My pupils went red and sagged.

I was a mutant.
