Outside in the woods, night falls making the warm sun
turn into the silver moon. A Lupess, who seems to be a pup, lays in a flower
bed filled with lovely wild flowers. She isn't all that big, but big enough.
She has yellow silky fur that shimmers in the moon light. She hears her
owner yelling her name, "Tear Drops! Time to come in and have supper!"
With that Tear Drops runs to her house, smiling. She was
always been treated right and given everything she needed. Dinner was
hot on the table as she scrambled up on her chair to eat, while her owner
sat down, happy to see her loyal Lupe pup home.
"Yum! This looks good," Tear Drops says before digging
into her food.
"I hope you like it Tear Drops," says her owner happily
while starting to eat her own food.
After dinner Tear Drops helped clean up and watched some
TV. After her favourite show was over her owner picked her up.
"AW! Do I havta go to bed Bunnie?!" Tear Drop whines.
"Yes, it's already past your bed time you silly lil'
pup," Bunnie says warmly.
Bunnie takes the pup into her arms and carries her to
her bed. She kisses Tear Drops' forehead and turns out the lights. Tear
Drops holds her fuzzy teddy bear close to her and falls asleep. She dreams
her sweet pup dreams about running in the fields and having a lil' brother
or sister, eating candy, and playing with friends.
The morning sun soon rises into the sky making the clouds
purple, pink, and orange. Bunnie opens Tear Drops' door and lets the smell
of breakfast come in. Tear Drops soon jumps out of bed and smiles.
"Breakfast is ready Tear Drops," even in her voice you
can feel her smile.
"Kay! Be there in a second," Tear Drops says full of
joy because the sun has awakened.
Five minutes later she is eating her breakfast quickly
so she can go outside and play. When she's done she runs outside to the
river bank. When she finally gets there she sees a Dark Faerie. Never
being warned by her mother about them she walks up to make friends.
The Dark Faerie glares at Tear Drops and starts to glow.
Tear Drops steps back, but it's too late. She starts to glow as well,
and is lifted into the air. She yelps and whines but no one is around
to hear her! She wiggles and squiggles trying to get out of the glowing
light and tries to growl, yet she is too scared to.
"Ahahahaha! I got you now, you Lupess! Ahahahaha," the
Dark Faerie evilly says.
"No stop! Let me go," Tear Drops yelps.
Both her and the Faerie fade in the sky. Soon they appear
in the Dark Faerie's castle.... Everything seems dead, everything is black
and grey and ugly.
"Welcome to my kingdom! I will make you one of my henchmen,"
she says with a following evil laugh.
Tear Drops whines and whimpers as it is now dusk and
her owner cannot find her, nor can she eat those lovely dinners. Dusk
soon becomes night as she is thrown into a steal cage, cold and scary.
At midnight, the cage door swings open and Tear Drops is
dragged out of it and put on a stone next to the Dark Faerie The Dark Faerie
cackles evilly as she takes out a wand and says a few words... The
stone Tear Drops is standing on starts to become her! She tries getting
away yet it's too late for her.
***
Back at home, Tear Drops' owner starts to worry. She
sits in a chair and weeps. She misses her wonderful Lupess pup that she
has raised. She gets an idea and runs into her own room and grabs a bag,
and then puts a blanket, flashlight, food, compass, and other items in
it. She is going to look for Tear Drops!
Ten minutes have past. She puts the bookbag on and runs
into the woods, to the river. She sees Tear Drops' footprints and follows
them. Then they are gone, not even at the water's edge.
"TEAR DROPS!!!!" she yells at the top of her lungs as
she falls to her knees and cries.
***
Tear Drops, now stone, feels helpless. She feels her
body become stiff as she blinks and a tear rolls down her muzzle. A dark
collar appears on her neck to prove she's the Dark Faerie's. She lets
out a long, sad, mournful howl into the night sky. She can only hope that
Bunnie heard it while she was being dragged away.
***
Bunnie hears the howl and sees where the wind is coming
from.
"The dark kingdom...." she says to herself and gets up,
running to it.
Hours have past... she starts to feel lost, but doesn't
give in. She enters the black and gray world and looks at the castle.
She bears her teeth and runs in.
"Give me back Tear Drops, you witch!" she yells to the
Dark Faerie.
The Dark Faerie looks at her and starts to glow. Bunnie
prays to the gods that her plan will work. She takes out her flash light
and turns it on, the golden rays make the Faerie scream in pain and disappears.
***
Tear Drops howls again, she knows that Bunnie has come
to save her. She feels her presence as she now hears "TEAR DROPS! HANG
IN THERE! I'M COMING!!!!" She sees Bunnie's form in the distance running
full speed to her cage. Her body gets harder to move. Bunnie soon reaches
Tear Drops and opens the cage. She pulls out the unmoveable Lupess and
picks her up.
"Oh my poor Tear Drops!" she says, hugging the now statue
of her former pet Tear Drops. "I'll take you to the Faerie Queen! She'll
make you live!" she says while picking up the still small statue of the
pup.
She walks all the way to Faerieland, having to hold
her heavy statue for a puppy! She reached the castle where the Queen lived,
and cried. She knocked on the large door and two guards opened it.
"Please, Oh, please! Let me see the Queen! The Dark Faerie
did this to my poor puppy!" she said sadly.
They nodded and told her to come in. She came in and
the guards closed the door behind her. Another guard walked her to the
camber the queen was in. The queen just looked at her, her purple gown,
beautiful in every way she was.
"What do YOU want?" the queen said, not all being all
that rude.
"The Dark Faerie.... My puppy-" Bunnie stuttered.
"Slow down! What did the Dark Faerie do to your puppy?"
the Queen asks, concerned.
Bunnie holds up the baby Lupess and cries... "She turned
her to stone! Can you please let her live!?"
"What is your name? I shall grant you this wish," the
Queen says warmly.
"My name-My name is... Bunnie Dragon Tears!" she said,
looking at her pet.
"All right Bunnie Dragon Tears. I'll make your beloved
pet live again, but you must warn her about the powers of the Faeries!
Most of us are good, but some like the Dark Faerie are evil!" the Queen
said while looking at Bunnie's agreeing nod.
The Queen waved her hands into the air and said words
dazzling Bunnie, and so it seems to be dazzling Tear Drops! Tear Drops
blinked and moved her tail, but she was still a grey stone colour. Bunnie
didn't mind, she knelt next to Tear Drops and hugged her tightly, crying.
The Queen smiled before she said "Now take your pet back home. She is
alive now. She can be happy!"
With that Bunnie and Tear Drops walked the long way home.
Stopping for food 2 times, Tear Drops was VERY hungry. Tear Drops told
Bunnie how scary it all was, and how scared she was. Bunnie listened carefully.
Now Tear Drops is happy as ever! She is still a puppy
and will be one for a long while. She can wait to play now a days. She's
reading more and when she does play she makes sure no Faeries are around!
Bunnie is very happy, but when Tear Drops asks "Why am I grey?" she just
says, "When you were younger the Faerie Queen was crying because the lovely
golden yellow from the rainbow had disappeared! So you walked up to her
and told her she could use your golden fur colour for the rainbow, she
was so happy! Now she doesn't cry anymore because all the colours are
in the rainbow now! The bad thing is that you turned grey because you
gave up your fur colour."
She doesn't mind the grey coat anymore because of that
story. She runs happily with her friends and doesn't mind being different!!!
