The Bully

Zolbi was very excited. She was going to have show-and-tell at her school today. It was only her first week of school, and she was having a good one. She knew what she was bringing. Poogy, her blue Poogle toy. Zolbi had Poogy since... forever. She hopped into the kitchen throwing Poogy in the air. “Hi, Esar!” Zolbi greeted her owner, Esar2000. “What’s for breakfast?”

“Bacon Omelette, and milk. Eat up,” Esar2000 said as she placed down Zolbi’s plate. “Are you ready for school? The bus will be here in five minutes.”

“Yep,” Zolbi said, grabbing Poogy off the table. “Poogy’s ready, too!” A honk sounded. “Bye, Esar! See you after school!”

Zolbi left the house and ran to catch the bus. She got on and searched for Dezuki, her best friend. Dezuki was in the back, so Zolbi had to try and get through the aisle without tripping over others’ feet.

“Hi,” Dezuki said. “What did you bring for show and tell?” Zolbi held up her blue Poogle toy.

“This is Poogy!” she said proudly. “What did you bring?”

“My Sword of Domar,” said Dezuki. She pulled a sword out of her of her bag.

“Wow...” Zolbi said in awe. A few minutes later the bus got to its destination. School. Luckily, show and tell was first thing in the morning. A Uni named Luluana was first. She brought a Faerie Paintbrush. Lulianna hadn’t been nice to Zolbi all week.

“My owner will take me to the Rainbow Pool after school so I can get painted. A Faerie Paintbrush is very rare, so I am lucky to have one. I will be beautiful,” Lulianna talked about her paintbrush for what seemed to Zolbi, hours. Next was a little Bruce who brought a Bruce Booster Pack. After a few more pets, it was finally Zolbi’s turn.

“This is Poogy,” she started to say but was interrupted by Luluana’s giggles. She could hear Luluana’s friends laughing, too. They were talking about her.

“I got Poogy when I was little and he has been my favorite toy since. Poogy doesn’t talk to anyone but me. He’s shy.” Luluana burst out laughing. The teacher told her to “Shush” as Zolbi sat down.

Zolbi didn’t pay attention to the other presenters. She was thinking about why Luluana and her friends were laughing at Poogy, or her. She hugged Poogy, and a tear rolled down her eye.

Lunch came, and Dezuki noticed Zolbi’s depressing state. “What’s wrong?” she asked. Before Zolbi could answer. Luluana and friends came strolling by.

“I’m sorry for snickering at you during show and tell. I shouldn’t laugh at poor, trashy pets like you or your friend for having dull, cheap things to share.” Her friends laughed and walked away.

“That’s what’s wrong!” cried Zolbi. Dezuki was offended as well. “I wish she’d leave me alone!”

The rest of lunch, the two talked about mean things that could happen to Luluana. By the time lunch was over they were both happy. When they got to class, Luluana was crying to the teacher.

“Somebody stole my paintbrush! My owner will be so mad at me! Please find it!” She wailed, but nobody found her paintbrush. When Zolbi and Dezuki took their seats, she charged at them and accused them of stealing her paintbrush. The teacher had to send Luluana to the principal’s! Zolbi was so happy.

Zolbi and Dezuki had to walk home because there was no room on the bus. They didn’t mind. Anyhow, as they were walking, Luluana showed up with her friends.

“You two are gonna get it for stealing my only paintbrush! Me and my friends will pound you scum bags so hard into the ground, you’ll look like another puddle of mud!”

Unsurprisingly, Luluana’s friends had beaten up Zolbi and Dezuki badly. When Zolbi got home she told Esar2000 about the whole day. Esar2000 was mad and looked up Luluana and had a chat with her owner. Luluana’s owner wasn’t too happy either. She sent Luluana to a boarding school.

Everyone at school the next day were surprised that Luluana was gone. Especially, Luluana’s friends. They each apologised for what they had done to Zolbi and Dezuki. And so, everyone lived happily ever after.
