How to Be a Good Neopian Citizen

Neopia is a beautiful place with a lot of residents. But if everyone pitches in and does their job of being a good Neopian citizen, Neopia would be a MUCH better place to live in (I'm not saying that it's not already good). Here are some things that would make you a good and successful Neopian:

(1) If you are rich, please donate your share at the Money Tree to help the unfortunate. They probably need the NP more than you do.

(2) When donating things, don't donate them in big chunks. Split them up and make more people happier.

(3) If you are NOT rich, do NOT beg for NP FROM the rich. It would make you seem like a whiny crybaby that no one wants to share with, and begging might even hurt your pets' pride!

(4) If you have a Shop, make sure the prices are reasonable. Put yourself in your consumers' shoes: If you are gonna buy the item yourself, what is the reasonable price that YOU would choose? Be considerate.

(5) If you have a Shop, put in things that people would buy, such as food, trading cards, magic items, snowballs, etc. As I have said before, make sure they are at a reasonable price. I do that all the time and my average shop income is 1265 NP a day!

(6) If you don't have a Shop, I suggest you get one. You would be missing out on a lot of NP if you don't.

(7) Do not use bad language ANYWHERE on the site. Just because you wanted to use your "lovely" vocabulary to offend others doesn't mean that they wanted you to share it in the first place.

(8) When advertising, whether on chat, message boards, or such places, do not use BIG, HUGE LETTERS AND PICTURES BECAUSE IT WILL TAKE MORE TIME TO LOAD! Most people really DON'T have all day, you know.

(9) If you want a new pet, TRY YOUR BEST not to create one, but ADOPT one from the Neopian Pound. If you don't feel sorry for those poor, abandoned pets, staring at you with those sad, lonely eyes, you have no heart! Excuse me, I need some tissue. Thinking about those sad faces make me wanna cry...

(10) When you first create/adopt a pet, make sure it's a pet that you are willing to keep and take care of for the rest of your time here in Neopia. Don't disown them for they will be very sad indeed. It's virtual animal cruelty.

All in all, I just wanted to say that NeoPets ISN'T about how much NP you have, how many more rare items you've got than the next person, or how strong or cool your pet is from other pets. Since I have no real-life pet of my own, I want everyone to know that it's about loving your pets, and giving them all the love you can as if they were a real pet of your own--which they are--and giving them the support that they need to grow up nice, healthy, and strong. That's all that matters. Be a good citizen and don't treat pets like the dirt and weeds in your NeoHome backyard. Your pets don't expect anything from you...except your love.
