Guilds, Guilds, Guilds. That's all you hear about nowadays... Should you make your own guild? Should you join one with a lot of members? A few members? Only one member? What type of Guild should you join? A Battledome guild? A Faerie guild? An animal guild? A guild for the poor? The rich? A guild to help others? Those are only a few questions that many people ask themselves. In this article, I will try to answer as many of those questions as possible. Should you make your own guild? My answer to that is No. There are hundreds of guilds out there, and chances are, there is at least one other guild with the same topic. If you really can't find a guild with your specific topic, then start a guild. If you do start a guild, the way to bring it to a lot of members is NOT to give rare items to your members or advertise your guild in all sections of the chat rooms. The way I got members in my guild is by making up a catchy paragraph about it and then reply to the people who are looking for guilds in the guild section. Should you join one with a lot of members? A few members? Only one member? Think about it. Are you planning to be very active? If you are not going to be very active and would still like to be a part of something, you should join a big guild. If you want to have your opinion heard in a guild, join one that has only a few members. If you plan to be very active and want to step back and say, "I helped bring this guild up from only one member," then join a newly created one. I personally joined one with one member, and now, a few months later, that guild has 50 members and is running smoothly. I am very proud of my guild. The hardest question of all: What type of guild should you join? This one is very hard to answer, because everyone's personalities are different, so I can't do much but recommend some of my favorite guilds.
